The Rockets aren't really a "dumpster fire" tho. There's nothing crazy over there happening...they're just developing young prospects while tanking in the process.
He's being mentored by John Lucas and has been given free reign to develop on the floor...which he probably wouldn't be getting right now on any other team. No excuses for him. Some people just are who they are.

You wanna miss Covid testing and mess around then cry after the fact a coach called you out on it, you deserve all the criticism. Rockets handled this correctly, players just weren’t professional. And as a bad team, if you don’t hold the better players to a standard, then it’s a waste of time.
