C’mon bro. You’re smarter than this. Not only has Bron been in the league for 19 years but he’s probably one of the media savvy athletes in the world, if not #1. He knows how to navigate and steer the conversation through the media to get them to talk (or not talk) about whatever it is that he wants. Whether that’s to troll, put pressure on an owner/FO, send out feelers/signals, etc. Whatever it may be, he’s not talking just to talk

And it’s not only Bron (well maybe in the NBA but no one talks like him) but you see it from guys In other sports like Brady and Rodgers, Sean Payton was doing it a little bit after retiring.

All of these guys are professionals with top-notch media training, egos and personal agendas but you think we’re wild for assuming their words have intent and are deliberate

Development is a tricky thing tho. Anything could happen...which is why rankings don't mean anything in the grand scheme. You have late bloomers and guys that boom/bust at different times.

Kenyon Martin Jr. was ranked like 200 as a senior and was headed to Vanderbilt. He did a year of prep school and then got drafted and was in an NBA rotation last year.

Totally forgot Greg Anthony was arrested and charged with misdemeanor soliciting a prostitute in a Washington D.C. wife still stayed with him and he still has an analyst career then has a son in the NBA! Bruh is blessed.
