"The Spurs would have been fine without Duncan" as if Duncan didn't make the team what it was and was the cornerstone behind the dynasty.

In the last week TMAC has tried to disparage Tim Duncan and Giannis to elevate himself.. The realization that he wasn't THAT nice is killing him

… and he tried to ride Tim Duncan coattails to a championship in 2013. Ungrateful summa b***

Just caught that Haliburton/JJ Pod...and he didn't say it directly...but he basically alluded to a deal where he was going to Philly if they hadn't made the BKN trade. Or at the very least they were in advanced enough talks for his agent to have gave him a heads up.

Spurs may sneak into the playoffs that year, but Tmac wildin. Shaq thinks dude should average 35 and 16 like it's 10 &10. When he is the voice of reason in basketball conversations, you gotta reassess.

This is what the spurs lineup without Tim Duncan would look like..

PG: Tony Parker (19 years old)
SG: Bruce Bowen
SF: Stephen Jackson
PF: Malik Rose
C: David Robinson (37 years old/final season)

Bench:

PG: Speedy Claxton
SG: Manu (Rookie)
SF: Steve Smith (34 years old)
PF: Danny Ferry (36 years old)
C: Kevin Willis (40 years old)

Bonus: a 37 year old Steve Kerr that played 4mpg.

Of course they would’ve probably changed the way they played or retooled…but if Tim was out at ANY point that season, this team would struggle mightily because of the timing and age of their rotations. Old players too old, young players too young…and the guys in their prime are role players.

Imagine a 19-20 year old Tony Parker as a first option on a Spurs playoff team in 2002-2003 . Or Stack Jack. That could be ugly.

I hope to see the first game, trying-to-find-his-place-in-the-flow-of-the-offense Harden.
