wouldnt call it giving him away. Ben isn’t going to make the kings worse. You’re praying he cares about basketball. Not a prayer I would take but eye could see them doing it

Kings too Bagley over Doncic.
cashed out Hield.
cashed out Barnes.
drafted a PG 2 years in a row while having Fox
still paying luke Walton.

trading Fox wouldn’t be the worst thing they’ve done recently

Ooof. That’s ugly.

If they randomly picked someone from the NT basketball thread to be the team’s GM, it’s hard to imagine they would have done worse - even some of the people I have on ignore.

I understand the logistics Roster wise...but from Sacramento's perspective if you're going to trade him why not get a fair return? Why give him away?

Does Fox want out or something?
In a vacuum, Kangz have the roster that’s “ideal” for -name redacted-. Plenty of shooters spread around, a theoretical stretch big in Bagley who can also protect the rim on defense. He’d have the “space” he wants. It makes sense but the biggest factor is him actually caring to improve

Haliburton pick made sense because he slid and was BPA, and can also play off ball.

Picking a 6ft 23 year old guard in this draft, when there was a skilled big on the board in Sengun, and multiple big wings like Moody/Murphy/Johnson/etc still available was the head scratcher.

yeah no problem with the Haliburton pick.
And Mitchell very well could end up being a good player, even though I wasn't particularly high on him. I'm just not exactly sure how/why you draft him when you already have a young PG on a max contract, there is good talent still on the board and you have other very obvious needs. Just reeks of them wanting to make a move of some sort.

For the Kings, a Fox /Ben swap is simply to shake **** up cuz either player probly gon lead to the same results in Sac, But Ben is the best they can get and try something different see what happens…Worst case they still picking in the lotto as usual and still have 2 other guards they drafted to develop

The Kings rarely have a chance to bring an “all star” or a player with some convo round him in to sell to the fans/media

I kinda like a Ben/ Haliburton better than whatever the Sixers have because Hali can run the half court offence and I feel like their skillsets would compliment each other.

Edit: rolaholic got it

Maybe firing her isnt warranted, but this just seemed wild as hell.

I’ve never seen a pre season point of emphasis for NBA officiating last more than a month, but maybe it’ll be different this time since so many ppl complain bout it
Agreed. When they were trying to force the delay of game for touching the ball after a made basket. Called it all preseason several years ago. Once the season started, haven’t seen it called you in several years.
