Anyone into vintage lenses?

depends on how you define vintage, i have a bunch of old film camera lenses from the 70's & 80's, that count?...i like the challenge of manually focusing in the moment, i miss a ton shots because of it though!

So What kind of blogs/videos about photography do you read?

I love Eric Kim. His stuff is a MUST read:

Ken Rockwell is pretty hilarious as well and dude knows his stuff.

Digital Rev & Kai is the best

while don't necessarily frequent any photography blogs/sites in particular, i have this app called flipboard that aggregates links from other people that i check every few days & i definitely rock with digital rev's youtube vids-- good edu-tainment for sure...

Is that your Honda Accord Coupe? If so, looks good man.

Sup Y'all!

Just got back last night from the bay for my girl's grad school commencement. I took a ****ton of shots and I think maybe 9 or 10 are useable :lol

Nah but I'll share some after I touch them up...speaking of which, do you guys use Photoshop AND Lightroom or either/or?

I was actually going to email you to see how you liked the lens. Happy to see that you are putting it to use. NIce shots also. Can't wait to see more.

Lol I went on a trip and took about 400 pics but only posted 60. So glad have digital cameras

I use Lightroom cause its easier for me.

Yeah...that really is the beauty of digital. The shot ration can be way off from good to bad photos. At night, my ratios are always off and even in past shoots, I've come out with like 2-3 photos out of a couple of hundred. I really need to start deleting my bad photos though even on my harddrive. I have so much crap saved and for no reason.

:lol right.

And I got a chance to test drive LR last Thursday. I like it a lot and it's much easier than photoshop. After I get off work and nap, I'll post the difference it made for me in the one pic I edited in it.

Sometime even when they come out blurry it still feel nice it capture that instant!

I recently start diggin those old lenses for some of my cinematography works....i got one of those Helios 58mm f/2 for like 20 bucks! Really good quality coating...you know that russian style...small size and really easy to carry around...and it takes really beautiful photos...
