My classmate asked me if i could photograph her three year old daughter. She offered to pay me, but I feel like a novice at this and my skills are not in the professional range so I did this shoot for free. Any advice or comments for future references?
I think this was good to be paid for ... just saying.

Out of curiosity, what made you get rid of the A7? Lack of native lenses?First time posting in a while. Here are some favorites from the past couple of months. I got rid of my Sony A7 and have been shooting with a Nikon D600 again.
Man too late for that. I told my classmate otherwise, I want some cash now only because I took time out of my busy saturday and drove some 10 miles out of my way to do this....get that money man. especially if someone offers.
That would have been perfect, I still have the images with me hopefully she offers to pay once more so i can get some cash out of this.If you feel that you aren't good enough to charge, learn this phrase, "Pay what you feel the photos are worth" but free at the beginning ain't that bad.
I meet a lot of photographers working valet, I'm bout to start asking to shadow them on jobs for more experience and portfolio expansion
@Mr Fongstarr getting a shout out from Nicky Diamond.. Good ish!
Thanks G. Actually he followed me cause I did a blog post on his shop on The Hundreds. He must have just saw that photo out of no where cause I even tagged him in on the photo back on February. One cool thing came out of it though......Bryce Kanight, skateboard photographer, follows me now. That was a pleasant surprise.
Shot these today after work.
