I'm torn between buying Hitman:Absolution or Max Payne 3! Any suggestions?

To homeboy on the previous page about the 60GB YLOD, I hope you have some loving parents or your employed because you gonna have to end up paying $150 for a 3 week turn around. Dude, I know it's frustrating but it's the only suggestion.
I would like to know what causes YLOD though.
+ Im on Chapter 12 of FF XIII and it is a great addition to the series visually, mechanically and is a telling tale. Although, once your out there on the playing field it really does feel like your out there in a dungeon, it's so linear. In that aspect it makes it a typical RPG. I got FF XIII-2 deadstock sealed right here, after I finish with part 1. I not really feelin' the MMORPG aspect of FF XIV. I'd rather have the console type, MMORPG feel of it is gonna make the game a bit too "wide" if that makes any sense. But, teaming up with my NT Fam would be kinda cool.

It's can be found cheaper and has a better story, graphics, and I've heard multi player is dope if you like playing FPS online.

Search on youtube and try the "Blow dryer or towel fixes" .If it works connect a external hard drive and do a PS3 system data back up or just copy whatever game saves are important for you.
Just remember that these are temporary fixes.
Really sucks to hear though since by June we most likely are going to hear at E3 Sony & Microsoft announce plans for the next gen consoles.

Yea I enjoyed XIII2 but don't do what I did. I started it in April and only completed it last week. I had large breaks from it (Vita) so when I came back the story was hard to grasp and I didn't know where to go, especially in the Historia Crux.
I think you will enjoy it much more if you complete it in about 3 weeks.

It was announced for both Vita and PS3. They just had to finish off Kingdom Hearts 1.5 first or so I heard.
I really hope we don't have another ZOE situation on our hands though where they just cancel it quietly but I think it will be fine seeing how MGS and Persona 4 came out.
@jhawk826 PS2 has been discontinued only in Japan. They're still selling them in developing countries.

FFX HD is coming. It looks amazing, it should be the best looking HD "remake" to come out -- period. They're having issues with it on VITA but they'll make it happen. KH HD is on its way to the US as well.

Interested to know what people on here think... Keep in mind they want a very third person DMC actiony feel. However, you're still limited to commands during battles so you do not have real time control of the attacks

Sony Japan has allegedly filed a patent application for near field communication tech that is rumoured to quash second hand game sales going into the next generation.
UPDATE: Sony has issued a ‘no comment’ reply on the below story. Treat this as you will.
ORIGINAL STORY: NeoGAF member gofreak has unearthed what appears to be body text from Sony Japan’s patent filing this morning, although we are still looking for a solid URL source on this, so please treat it as rumour for now. The patent was filed on December 9th.
The excerpt reads:
“According to the present embodiment, realized is the electronic content processing system that reliably restricts the use of electronic content dealt in the second-hand markets. As a result, the dealing of electronic content in the second-hand markets is suppressed, which in turn supports the redistribution of part of proceeds from sales of the electronic content to the developers.
“Though in the following description a game application (AP) is exemplified as the electronic content, the present embodiment is similarly applicable to various kinds of electronic content such as an office suite, images, and music content.”
“By employing the game playing system 1000 according to the present embodiment, the use permission tag 220 together with the game disk 210 is supplied to the user, and the use permission tag 220 actively determines the use permit/rejection of electronic content.
“Thereby, the use of game AP stored in the game disk 210 can be restricted as appropriate according to the attribute of a reproduction device. Consider, for example, a case where used is a game package 200 distributed in the second-hand market.
“Then the ID of reproduction device for the game disk 210 differs from the legitimate use device ID stored in the use permission tag 220, so that the game disk can be reproduced in a mode which is predetermined for those bought and sold in the second-hand market.

This does raise questions about ‘always-on’ net connections, or what happens if a console bricks and a replacement is needed. Does one then have to buy a new copy of the game, or is it tied to the user’s PSN account?
These are all valid questions all being raised over on NeoGAF, and we’ve reached out to Sony for comment on the matter. We’ll update if and when we know more.

^ I doubt they will use it. Unless all of the big 3 console manufacturers use a system like that it, otherwise they will be at a huge disadvantage. Jack Tretton also said they wouldn't have a system like that in place.
I still at the FF Type-0 situation constantly.
As for Lightning Returns, the battle system is what is drawing me in. I see an evade command which brings back some FF7: Crisis Core memories.
I heard she has about 20 different costumes in the game. I hope it's true because I'm not liking her default one.

i think its possible that they could use the system but not like people assume
my guess is that it would be like - if you want to use discs and resell okay, but if you want to store a game on the system and go completely disc free (unlike M$) then youll have to register the disc and forgo the possibility of resale

I can't figure out why I keep getting disconnected from PSN. My internet is fine with the exception of trying to play on my PS3. I'll play 1-2 games of COD and it kicks me.
Never had this problem before. I've reset my modem countless times and even got a new router but still can't find a solution. Getting irate.
