The delayed 2020 Plaid Explorer Hat finally released. Hopefully this means that we might finally see the Artic Explorer Sweater before the season is over.
Now we have 2 of the items that the showroom mannequin was wearing with the swerater last year: 1. Buffalo Sherpa Overshirt 2. Plaid Explorer Hat. All that's left is the sweater.

Every year I try to purchase a grail that is on my wishlist. Some things have been on my wishlist for a few months while other things have been on my list for years. I was fortunate to be able to put a check through more than one grail item this year. Not sure if it was the pandemic or the excitement of the Tokyo Stadium Collection, but it was a great year for purchasing.

Nee Ralph Lauren boutique open at oak brook mall. (Chicago western burbs)
about the same size as the smaller Polo stores you see in some cities… like the one in Los Angeles…
except this one is a curated mix of all brands for men and women, mostly the fancier “normal” polo stuff and purple label/collection.
they have a fashion sketch artist in store a couple days this week; I think to draw fashion style sketches of gals trying clothes on.

Some recent pickups….
for my daughter, off the ebay, not sure when they came out?
some classic socks
did a custom holiday shirt for daughter, to match the patchwork tartan pants I got her. (And then did a holiday sweatshirt for myself, got the year on his shoes…)
I think most of y’all hated these… but this pair of high top climb shoes (boots?) has been one of my favorite shoes to wear with various sportsman, hi tech, etc. have beat the hell out of them, and saw someone selling new pairs for $25 on ebay. Great deal if you don’t have em! They work with a lot of stuff.
Stadium all over shorts. These took forever to get… they didn’t make as many of these as I thought they would have. Saved search for like 2 years on ebay….
and then, since I’m an idiot… I decided to grab every black watch tartan polo sport piece. The joggers, the half zip, the tshirt (ASOS has it) and still need to grab the sweatshirt.

The key is:
A lot of saved search strings that assume a lot of sellers don’t know crap about Ralph.
Btw, one seller I found that you RRL fans might really dig… (pic below) he always has rrl stuff that has been made exclusively for in-store displays.
just grabbed these pillows, the red and blue rrl pillows with the jeans on em… going to use in the summer outside on a patio couch, and then use the 80’s “polo country” denim tablecloth I got and some old school RL denim napkins.
