The Official Tennis Thread (Vol. 2024 French Open)

Very proud of them for doing the right thing unlike the scumbags from Roland Garros.

Damn man :ohwell:

Can't imagine the amount of pressure that gets placed on some of these players, like her, Sloane Stephens and Osaka, to be the 'next' Serena/face of the sport right off the back instead of allowing them to come into their own and grow into that slowly/organically.

I'll be rooting for her to hopefully get back to a place where tennis is fun again for her instead of being stressful cause that should be the most important thing for her at this stage, easy to forget she's still a teenager.

Also hope the media and fans give her the room and space to grow as a player instead of placing loads of their own expectations on her shoulders.

Welp, he was downplaying it hard and on his anti-vax tip promoting pseudoscience on sm a few weeks back

Just a shame his recklessness has to affect others too though.

Really been showing his *** during this pandemic, actually made me agree with Kygrios for a rare time when he called him out

No surprise at him contracting it, lesson learnt for taking things lightly. Number one player in the one who should be leading by example....

Hopefully it doesn't form a large cluster among the audience that attended.

WTA starting up next week in Palermo, Ash Barty ditching the US Open which is understandable.

Federer GOATing in these weird times.

Not quite sure how this new "Professional Tennis Players Association" led by Djokovic and Pospisil is gonna work out. Djokovic clearly shown by his actions of the Adria Tour isn't exactly a sound leader.

Fed and Nadal are not backing it so is Murray at the moment.
