The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

That's a great deal on Suikoden if anyone is interested or has never played it.  Play of ton of that game when I was younger.  Not a big JRPG guy anymore though so I can't see myself putting tons of hours into it nowadays, but I would still wholeheartedly recommend it though.

I encountered some sort of glitch after about 5-7 hours in my Suikoden I playthrough. I couldn't advance and I looked at guides YT vids and it wouldn't let me progress. I haven't played since, might just jump to Suikoden II.

Is it one of these?

That is very disappointing. I may just buy the 2nd one and pass on the 1st.

Also i heard on podcast beyond that sony may make a new vita. Found that to be a shock. I would pay good noney for a vita that could play any ps2 game.

If they just wanna make the vita like the wii u gamepad i would be more than fine with that too. I love the gamepad. Just add R2 and L2 buttons

The head guy on podcast beyond... i feel like he doesnt even like games lol. He just likes puns.

The King of rhythm games returns.

"Playable Teaser"

Short little horror game made by Kojima (Metal Gear) to reveal Silent Hills, which was to be made by Kojima w/ Guilermo Del Torro.

Since then, Kojima is basically out a Konami and Silent Hills is cancelled.

PT was taken off the PSN store like 2 days ago.

I may be one of the very few people who actually liked the game. I took the time to actually play it instead of speeding through it and it was a solid 9-10 hours start to finish. I understands alot of peoples complaints about the length of cutscenes but they said from the get go this game was going to be really cinematic. I really enjoyed the story and those cutscenes were how they told it so im not knocking them for that. Good solid 7.5/10 to me would play a sequel

Earlier this week, we announced the Season Pass for Batman: Arkham Knight. While the story of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Trilogy will come to a close on June 23rd, we are excited to continue telling stories and delivering more content to explore and play through in the 6 months following the game’s release. We’ll be building more narrative, more missions, more challenges and more characters and vehicles that we want players to experience, even though they didn’t fit into the storyline of Batman: Arkham Knight.

We’ve heard from our community that you want more information on what we’ll be delivering in the Season Pass. While we aren’t ready to unveil every aspect of the content we’ll be developing, we would like to share more detail now to give you a better sense of the scope of the Season Pass.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family
An all new prequel story expansion in an entirely new location where you play as Batgirl for the very first time in the Arkham series - check out the first render of Batgirl.

The Season of Infamy
Play as Batman in all new story missions featuring legendary super-villains invading Gotham City, with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features.

Gotham City Stories
Play as Batman’s key allies in narrative missions extending their storylines, from both before and after the events in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks
Drive the most iconic Batmobiles from Batman’s 75-year history, on custom-built race tracks, each themed to that Batmobile’s specific era. Every Batmobile will be drivable across every race track.

Crimefighter Challenge Maps
Engage in a series of new challenge maps utilizing the unique play styles of Batman and his allies.

Character Skins
A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.

As we fully ramp up development on the Season Pass, we will be sharing even more details on each monthly content drop. We hope you enjoy playing Batman: Arkham Knight as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.

Glad to see NT talking about pCARS. :) And yes, it's more aimed at a simulation experience (targeted at Gran Turismo and Forza fans) than the DriveClub/NFS/The Crew audience.

I think the list is ok... decent variety, but undoubtedly missing a lot.  Needs at least 10 Skylines.

That list is meager. :{  Missing a ton of staple brands.

I wish for that as well, but 1872348723472 cars wasn't possible with a budget that's a fraction of what Forza and Gran Turismo has, with Slightly Mad Studios self-publishing this game and all (Bandai Namco only distributes the game). Same story with licensing the tracks. SMS is trying to offer a decent selection for everyone with what they have. And yes, there are still more circuits and cars down the line. A free car comes out every month, starting with the Lykan, for example.

I'm guessing Photo-Mode... but even so, it looks amazing.
Nah those are bullshots

Not quite... those screenshots were taken from the PC version of the game by WMD Community members. Not even taken in photo mode. Just Free Camera during replay when it was still enabled (was disabled when the game has gone gold). Even the game trailers / some cars (which adhere to the actual series specifications) are community designed. :)

^ Really?  I quite like it... a good selection of GP circuits plus some smaller race tracks with a few different layouts/configurations.
There's a chance that Macau's Guia Circuit might be included eventually. ;)

I hope you have your wheel sets ready (best experienced with a good wheel!). This game has definitely come a long way and been quite fun to play. :smokin Anyway, it's the start of a new IP/franchise... excited for things to come if this game is well-received. So hopefully the audience will give it a fair shot and not be blindly hate/be ignorant.

P.S. SinnerP, my brother got a PS4, but I still don't think my wheel and pedal set is compatible with it. :lol Now, to reformat my system before reinstalling the game...
