The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

There's a chance that Macau's Guia Circuit might be included eventually.

I hope you have your wheel sets ready (best experienced with a good wheel!). This game has definitely come a long way and been quite fun to play.

Anyway, it's the start of a new IP/franchise... excited for things to come if this game is well-received. So hopefully the audience will give it a fair shot and not be blindly hate/be ignorant.

P.S. SinnerP, my brother got a PS4, but I still don't think my wheel and pedal set is compatible with it.

Now, to reformat my system before reinstalling the game...
No way!  Macau would be so awesome.  I did 2 laps on some simulator at the Macau GP Museum several years ago, but that's it!  Topped the leaderboard, but that isn't saying much given the competition (kids)...

I hear that none of the Logitech wheels work on the PS4?

Also, I only just realized this (and frankly, I don't really care), but there aren't any Ferraris in Project Cars???

Didn't get to visit the Macau GP Museum that only time that I was in Macau. :\ Narrow track! Ben Collins is hoping it'll be licensed, too.

Well, for the Logitech issue on PS4: it's more of a thing between Sony and Logitech, than it is with the developers. Logitech G27/G25/DFGT/Driving Force Pro work fine on the PC version. Here's a list of the currently officially supported peripherals for the game: http://www.projectcarsgame.com/beyond-reality.html

Full disclosure: we only have access to PC builds of the game. So we really can't say much about the PS4 version.

As for Ferrari's and Lamborghinis... no new news about any talks about licensing just yet. Who knows? :p

You have Pagani Zondas (a few versions including the Zonda R) and the McLaren P1) which are a handful to drive for now...

Personally, I hope we have more Japanese and American manufacturers in the game, as well as tracks. Seems to make the audiences from those regions feel a bit alienated.

Earlier this week, we announced the Season Pass for Batman: Arkham Knight. While the story of Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Trilogy will come to a close on June 23rd, we are excited to continue telling stories and delivering more content to explore and play through in the 6 months following the game’s release. We’ll be building more narrative, more missions, more challenges and more characters and vehicles that we want players to experience, even though they didn’t fit into the storyline of Batman: Arkham Knight.

We’ve heard from our community that you want more information on what we’ll be delivering in the Season Pass. While we aren’t ready to unveil every aspect of the content we’ll be developing, we would like to share more detail now to give you a better sense of the scope of the Season Pass.

Batgirl: A Matter of Family

An all new prequel story expansion in an entirely new location where you play as Batgirl for the very first time in the Arkham series - check out the first render of Batgirl.

The Season of Infamy

Play as Batman in all new story missions featuring legendary super-villains invading Gotham City, with new story arcs, missions and gameplay features.

Gotham City Stories

Play as Batman’s key allies in narrative missions extending their storylines, from both before and after the events in Batman: Arkham Knight.

Legendary Batmobiles with Themed Tracks

Drive the most iconic Batmobiles from Batman’s 75-year history, on custom-built race tracks, each themed to that Batmobile’s specific era. Every Batmobile will be drivable across every race track.

Crimefighter Challenge Maps

Engage in a series of new challenge maps utilizing the unique play styles of Batman and his allies.

Character Skins

A variety of skins from across the eras for Batman, Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman.

As we fully ramp up development on the Season Pass, we will be sharing even more details on each monthly content drop. We hope you enjoy playing Batman: Arkham Knight as much as we’ve enjoyed making it.

Well I'm sold :lol

Is there a site where I can DL game saves?

I wanted to play SF4 but I lost my save because my PS3 died

I don't feel like playing it again to get all of the characters

So I wanna ask is project cars a Sim or is it like driveclub more arcade based? I want a true Sim like GT it ForZa.
The Last of Us: Left Behind Available as Standalone Download May 12th
+ Posted by Arne Meyer on May 01, 2015 // Community Strategist, Naughty Dog

The team at Naughty Dog is excited that Left Behind, the critically-acclaimed and award-winning single-player chapter to The Last of Us, will be available as a standalone download via PlayStation Store. The Last of Us: Left Behind standalone will be available on both PS4 and PS3 starting May 12th for only $9.99. We will be dropping the price of the Left Behind Add-on on PS3 to the same price on that day as well.

If you haven’t had a chance yet to check out The Last of Us, this is a nicely priced gateway to checking out the world and characters so many people (and critics) loved. While part of the story of Left Behind takes place during the main narrative arc of The Last of Us, I think some of the best and most touching moments of any game in recent memory occur during the prequel segments, as we follow Ellie and Riley as they sneak out of boarding school to visit an abandoned mall, getting one final chance to enjoy their friendship before Riley leaves to join the Fireflies.

You can get more immersed into the story of Ellie and Riley in The Last of Us: American Dreams comic book, published by Dark Horse, co-written by Faith Erin Hicks and The Last of Us Creative Director Neil Druckmann, with interior art by Faith Erin Hicks. I highly, highly recommend it.

We realize that most of Naughty Dog fans and readers of PlayStation.Blog will have probably already played The Last of Us and maybe even the Left Behind Add-on chapter — if you enjoyed the games, be sure to tell your friends that haven’t played this great introduction to The Last of Us.

We’ve also included a two hour trial of the Factions Multiplayer mode. The Left Behind standalone game will have built-in upgrade paths through the in-game store to both the full Factions experience and/or the full game for The Last of Us.

Below are the details on the upgrade possibilities on both PS4 and PS3 after you already own the Left Behind standalone game.
Full Factions Multiplayer$9.99
Full digital single-player game with Treacherous Territories Map Pack
(if you already own the full Factions Multiplayer)

Full digital single-player game, Factions Multiplayer Mode, and the Treacherous Territories Map Pack bundle$39.99

Sim, but can be tailored to your personal skill level with realistic assists (if you select the 'Realistic aids', for instance, only the assists the real car has will be allowed to be enabled). You still have the option to turn on all the assists if you want. AI sliders are user-adjustable as well (think NBA 2K). Grid sizes, weather forecasts, date and time of race can all be tweaked, so you have the correct setting. Sunrise and sunset are accurately modeled with respect to the geographical location in the world. Even atmospheric pressure is modeled, so N/A cars don't have as much power in higher altitudes for example. The tyre model is also quite comprehensive. Real-life racing drivers also regularly play the game and give quite lengthy amounts of feedback (that sounded like I'm reading from a brochure :lol ). They really do... With Ben Collins and Nic Hamilton (#TeamLH #Blessed Lewis' Hamilton's brother) being the most visible in feedback from what I've been reading on the forum. You also have Oliver Webb (BAC Mono test driver and WEC driver currently) and Rene Rast (2015 24H Nurburgring and Spa 24H race winner and current Audi Sport Team Joest #9 R18 e-tron driver) putting in some feedback from their real-life experiences among others.

Hopefully all this makes sense. I'm just typing this all from my phone while having my haircut! :lol

Yeah, Rene drives soooooooo smooth! :smokin

Launch trailer just came out a few minutes ago... with music from Deadmau5! :hat

FUN FACT: The cars in most of these trailers aren't driven by A.I.! Real in-game footage! Community members gather for a "shoot" in a multiplayer lobby... which can be interesting and challenging at times! The time zone difference! :lol

:hat :hat :hat

I don't think i'll leave my house if I had a setup like that.

;)
