The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

The RPG-like campaign of Rockband. I really just play those games to hear the songs.

I understand.

A little bit here, but I like certain instruments.

Guitar is only fun to me, if I'm playing a difficult song.

Drums is fun to me, no matter which song I'm playing.

Easy-to-expert, I'm in.

Singing is fun for me, but no one else.

out of nowhere MKX says i can't shareplay to my friends because im not in the same country im pissed because i was share playing yesterday

Just did the thumbstick swap.

It took a fairly painless 15min.

One of the triggers fell off, but it was relatively easy to put it back.

Played a session of cod aw, couldn't be happier with the results.

They respond to the slightest touch and I didn't find any deadzones.

It's a little bit taller.

No slippage and a bit more range of motion.

They almost feel like the xb1 sticks.

Sim, but can be tailored to your personal skill level with realistic assists (if you select the 'Realistic aids', for instance, only the assists the real car has will be allowed to be enabled). You still have the option to turn on all the assists if you want. AI sliders are user-adjustable as well (think NBA 2K). Grid sizes, weather forecasts, date and time of race can all be tweaked, so you have the correct setting. Sunrise and sunset are accurately modeled with respect to the geographical location in the world. Even atmospheric pressure is modeled, so N/A cars don't have as much power in higher altitudes for example. The tyre model is also quite comprehensive. Real-life racing drivers also regularly play the game and give quite lengthy amounts of feedback (that sounded like I'm reading from a brochure :lol ). They really do... With Ben Collins and Nic Hamilton (#TeamLH #Blessed Lewis' Hamilton's brother) being the most visible in feedback from what I've been reading on the forum. You also have Oliver Webb (BAC Mono test driver and WEC driver currently) and Rene Rast (2015 24H Nurburgring and Spa 24H race winner and current Audi Sport Team Joest #9 R18 e-tron driver) putting in some feedback from their real-life experiences among others.

Hopefully all this makes sense. I'm just typing this all from my phone while having my haircut! :lol

Thanks for this info. Sounds amazing. Def cop for me then!drive club is cool but I want to cuatomizer the cars and what not.

For those who have DC, I keep seeing an ad for the "boosted pack" on the XMB menu when you press down. When you press X and it takes you to the store, it's not there, I cant find it. Can somebody shed some light on this?

It was weird... I couldnt find it to download. It finally worked for me after I went to the event, chose a race, and it took me directly to the PS Store to buy it.

I'll try that when I get home.

@iYen
did you upgrade the battery too?
I didn't, but I think I will later on. Since it's pretty easy to mod the ds4.

I also saw a mod where you but a bit of tape on the light bar ribbon cable, which disables it. I didn't want to tamper with the ds4 that much though. I can link you to the vid, if interested.

I'd assume they're just waiting until the Tales Festival to reveal this but it's pretty much a known fact now.

More or less confirmed now.
It's coming to PS4

Quite impressed with the AI.

My God, that looks amazing.

With me still playing DC, and with F1 coming out on June, I might just sit this out until I can get a wheel and enjoy it when more DLC and updates come out.
Also just remembered it will support Morpheus too.

Looking at the Thrustmaster 300 RS but the £260 price tag. :x
