The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I don't know what could be announced this year that would get me excited.

Already have Bloodborne and MGS V out this year...

There's Morpheus, but that's hard to really get a feel for through a computer screen.

It'll have to be something completely new.

Or Bloodborne DLC.

Glad to hear there will be NEW announcements. I'm satisfied with the releases we either got or will get this year i.e. Bloodborne, Type-0 HD, Final Fantasy XII HD, Batman, Metal Gear Solid V, MK X, Mario Maker, Persona 5, Gears Remaster etc. I played Fallout 3 for a few hours and never played again and I'm excited for Fallout 4 :lol but I'm more curious to see what new IPs or new installments are coming.

I read a rumor that Fallout is going to be cross gen, I really don't believe that but that would be pretty disappointing. Also Dishonored Definitive Edition wasnrumored as well.

They talked NMS on Kinda Funny and supposedly it's not releasing this year and the devs said that there won't be anything significant at E3. They felt they were misleading people into thinking it was close to releasing.

Personally I didn't see enough of NMS to really get hype for it. Like I have no idea what that is about aside from exploring planets and it taking a billion+ years to explore them all :lol

That vania kickstarter :Nthat

Need that SOTN atmosphere/gameplay in my life.

I read an interesting piece in the new yorker today that basically said things got kind of out of hand with sony really pushing them to get it done as soon as possible and things started slipping out of their control which is why they've gone ghost with info and all that.

That's pretty much the main focus of the game. Endless exploration. There's stuff you can do like dogfighting and trading but exploration is the most important part really.

Didn't know the T300RS was that much :eek Definitely a step above Logitech, though (I've had a DFGT and a G27 previously). Belt-driven > Gear driven wheels. They're just so much smoother.

Currently using Fanatec... I don't know if they work on the PS4 though.

Isn't Fanatec with MSFT?

Nope. But last thing I heard they finally had a licensing agreement with Microsoft to make their wheels compatible to the XBOX One. Well, the Clubsport line, at least (via a special wheel that has the XBOX security chip). No news about anything like that for Sony. I guess Thrustmaster has an exclusivity agreement with them. :|

With that said, my Fanatec gear works fine on PC.

Just checked Amazon UK and the t500rs is only £43 more than the t300rs :lol
What's the US price?

Amazon US has it around $480-$500 at the moment. If I remember correctly, the T500RS can work with the PS4, albeit with limited functionality (you can't use the 'PS' button for the menus or something). Well, don't quote me on that! :lol :p

In other news... Project CARS is the #1 Racing selling racing game ever on the PS4 in the UK. :eek GT7 will probably beat that with ease, but it's good to hear that the game is doing well. It comes out today in the United States. :hat

Has PS TV x PS4 LINK become playable yet?

I bought one for my lil sister so she could play my ps4 whenever.... it doesn't really seem like its playable. I'm going to go through hell moving my router to my living room so it can run on a wired connection... but is it worth it?

We don't live in the same house fyi. My ps4 is wired up, ps tv is wifi'd

Oh is it?  Another big difference with the 500 vs 300 is location of the paddles... the 500's are fixed while the 300's move with the wheel.  A lot of gamers didn't like that design on the 500.

Another thing with the pedals... the 500 pedals >>> 300 pedals, and not just cuz of the clutch, but also the build quality and feel.  Having said that, certain games don't support the clutch.  I hear Drive Club doesn't?  I definitely doubt F1 2015 supports the clutch.

This could be the best year ever if Fallout 4 drops. The Witcher 3 + Arkham Knight + Bloodborne + Phantom Pain + Dying Light + Fall Out 4.

I'll throw out some hints maybe even confirm a few things once we get closer. Saying anything right now is too early. The week of the show is pretty much fair game. They way I've been doing it the past few years is once I see what our reel and lineup are solidified with I'll drop that info to a trusted individual on NT (you know who you are). Expect that tonight or tomorrow. Once the pressers start I'll drop all the info in the E3 thread right before they start dropping bombs.

Truth be told I was shocked at the few things that have been kept super secret. From what I have personally seen and what first hand discussions with other developers I've had I'm confident in saying this E3 is going to be the best for announcements (not necessarily games on the floor), in the past 5 years.

5 years!!!

Aww yeaaa!

Keep on forgetting E3 is a month away.
Might book the day off if it's going to be really good.

Perfect time for bombs and megatons to be dropped.

This exactly. Bolster up that Morpheus lineup.

I don't think that price is official. Sounds like a reseller price.
It's £290 in the UK which won't translate to $500. I'll wait to see Amazon's own price when they get it back in stock.

I think i'll get the t300rs for the PS4 compatibility and upgrade the parts if necessary later on.
