I hear that the psvr is cord city and theres something with the lights near the eyes that are bothering ppl.
Yea ,there are loads of cords but the processing box is designed not to be unplugged and connects to the TV and PS4 so as long as you tidy the back then it's not bad,

As for the eye thing, I've only heard about it for those who wear glasses so they can't slide the visor in as much.
I had a little but that was becase the back of the headset was too far down titlting the visor up leaving space to see light but once I raised it higher and seated it properly then it was fine.
I've got a bright widow next to me but there's no light seeping through and the headset has flaps as well around the nose and under eye area to stop light coming in.
Just played RIGS and this is the killer app right now.
Think Rocket league in terms of simple to pick up but with depth to the gameplay. For anyone who wants a AAA experience then this is one of the games to look out for.
Being in a mech is Awesome. The speed and the ability to jump really high makes you feel like you're in one of those roller coaster rides, especially when you get ejected.
When I got in the mech and that HUD first came up and I was able to move, I thought I was Tony Stark
There are 4 types of mechs: Sentinel, Hunter, Mirage and Tempest all with different abilities, size and also different weapons when get enough cash to buy better mechs.
I picked Temptest as it allows you to jump really high and hover and is small enough to get under the tunnels.
Also for the face buttons, X lets you jump but the other 3 allow you to priorities where the mechs power goes to. By default it's set to speed which is square but you can change it to triangle which heals you quicker but you move slower as a result or you can set it to circle which gives your weapons a damage boost.
I'm in the offline league at the moment and you basically face off against other teams and play 3 different modes. Powerslam, takedown and one which is basically american football. Powerslam is the one most of you have seen where you jump through a hoop once you're in overdrive which you get by taking down other rigs and collecting some orbs.
It's great because it doesn't become repetitive. Those who got the Rocket League platinum will know how the offline campaign got boring after a while because it just got too easy and it was rinse and repeat until you went online but this switches it up every match.
You also get MVP status if you have the best stats which boosts your fame and you have certain objectives given by sponsors as well which when completed unlock cosmetic items like helmet and suit designs or different celebrations.
They really got the sports feel down with the liveries and commentators
The tutorial is hella long which is the only downside but the game makes up for it.
I still need to see how much maps there are but what this game needs is the same upgrade path as rocket league with constant upgrades.
Defintely deserves the 8/10 reviews.
EDIT: Also no motion sickness or nausea for me in this game either so I think I'm good to go as far as VR is concerned.

Ps4 and xb1 is 1080p so does that matter?? If these are the new thing now I will get this..I have a Sony Bravia that's like 6 yrs old and it is great..but it's time to upgrade ..I love Sony tvs

PS4 pro will have games in 4K and then you have UHD Blu-Ray and 4K streaming services like Netflix and Amazon.
If you had your current TV for 6 years then future proof your next one by getting a 4K TV with HDR.
Oh, nah Horizon looks like it has a much bigger budget and makes sense since it's been made by the bigger Guerrilla team.
