I purchased a 1TB external hard drive for PS4 games in the future. When I connnect the hard drive to the PS4, it's saying the device can not be read or installed. I was reading online and it says you would need to format the PS4 in order to install it but I don't want to lose my old saved games. Is there any alternative to installing it without formatting my ps4?

You're not attempting to use it for games are you? If so, it's not gonna work. Youdo have to replace the internal HDD.

Wife copped me the PS4 Pro and I got plenty of BB, Amazon and GameStop gift cards too by the end of it
Probably finally get CoD remastered this year. Not sure what else I'm doing with it.
I got PSVue subscription a couple weeks ago, so I might grab a FireTV for the main TV. I have a firestick and a chromecast for the other tvs. I have my "old" PS4 down there for now but I can't login to 2 consoles at once, so we couldn't game and watch tv in different rooms. I will either make a "Vue" account for that and keep the PS4 or just sell it and use that money and grab a FireTV or something.

Good luck on getting that last survival trophy.
I'm level 41 survival now and I played for like an hour with some two guys last night. We made it to the very last wave on hard, but didn't even come close to beating that final boss.
I can't imagine how hard it is to get 3 stars on all survival stages on crushing difficulty.
It's SUPER fun leveling up and getting those weapons upgrades though. Will definitely be playing this mode for a while.

Story for Arkham city is getting better. Fun filler game so far. Nothing extravagant. Prob not gonna start rotr or tf2 until my gf beats lego Harry Potter since it's easier to just leave that disc in for her so she can play whenever lol

picked up Batman: Telltale Series last night on the low and played a bit before heading off to bed. Pretty interesting thus far. A homie bought Titanfall 2 for my little brother for the PS4 but we just gifted him a One S for Christmas sooooooo I might just convince him to let me hold on to dat.....no regerts.
