My haul and newest ps4 gangmember

Ps4 slim via gamestop , nba 2k18 , madden 18 , uncharted 4 and a psn plus 1 year for $29.99

amazed myself and got everything for around $260 ..

Couple of questions for the noob

Do i need to play the other uncharted games to enjoy uncharted 4 ?

Would i be able to play my ps4 via my note 8 ?

If you got the 1TB Slim PS4 for $199. Then no it won't play games in HDR. For that you will need the PS4 Pro model and a 4K TV that supports HDR.

And no none of the Black Friday door buster 4K TV's priced at $199-$399 have HDR in them.

The cheapest budget 4K HDR TV is the TCL P605 or P607.

So my 49 inch TCL doesn't have hdr?

The stories from the past Uncharted games do tie into Uncharted 4. The Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection (1-3) is dirt cheap right now either $7.99 digital download on the PS Store or $9.99 at Fry's for disc copy of the game.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I dont think this is accurate. I was fairly sure that firmware 4.0 brought HDR gameplay to all PS4s.

That's correct. All PS4s are now HDR compatible.

UnicornHunter you don't need to play the previous UC games necessarily, but a few of the story notes won't resonate as much.

I suggest scooping the Nathan Drake collection this weekend. I think you can get it for around 9.99-14.99 for the 3 games, all re-mastered for the PS4. All 4 games are worth a play through.

Why are the Kingdom Hearts RPG games hated on so hard by Final Fantasy RPG series fans ?

I know a few NT'ers on this thread don't care for Kingdom Hearts games.

Is it because there are Disney characters in a RPG game ?

Well the only FF I've thoroughly played in FFX, but the Kingdom Hearts series is great. KH3 is still one of my most anticipated games.

KH2 was super easy compared to the first one though.

The plot and settings actually seem pretty interesting.

i understand the sentiment with a couple of games in the series. but KH1 and 2 as well as DDS are really great gameplay wise imo. the 2.8 demo showing some of the combat for KH3 is really good as well
