The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

That's all it had going for it. The main story was pretty good.

But the graphics in the game especially during action car chase scenes where you had people shooting at you.

Was PURE TRASH.
I gotta go back and play it but I was never into graphics like that.

What's your TV setup?

What type of games do you like?

Sony's exclusive games are dirt cheap right now going anywhere from $7 to $30 right now.

You should get the PS+ 1 year subscription now for $39 before it goes back up to $59 after this weekend and Cyber Monday is gone.

Check out a review for Horizon Zero Dawn. If it seems like your type of game scoop it. Also the uncharted series is fire. If you want to experience more of the cutting edge you can always just start with 4 and then backtrack.

If you like a little horror/survival check out last of us.

i wonder if the next FROM game will have loot boxes/ buy xp microtransactions.

What was everyone's haul yesterday? Ended up getting Wolfenstein 2 for 25, NBA 2K for 27, South Park for 34.99 and AC Origins for 29.99

Bought like 10 blu ray's and got a pair of Primeknit NMD's and called it a day :pimp:

I remember watching this show on TV a few years ago about PC gaming. They had core games and social games. The show ended up talking about people spending money for in-game transactions and the ethics of it. How it seems built to prey on certain individuals. They had terms like "whale" for people who regularly spend money on a single game. Some were paying a hundred or more a month. Some of them went into the thousands.

It's crazy, but there's people out there willing to give up their money for digital items in a game that could go offline at any second. These publishers don't want to charge an extra $10 on the disc when they can fleece people for way more with micro-transactions.

Only picked up Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and the Collection disk. I'm happy with that. I love this series.
