bruh it was a group of us like 10 people at a casual cook out. I met 6 of the 10 people there for the first time. The girl told her story i made my comment and this was another girl who just jumped in

like "a wild feminist appears" type situation.

I was like yeah...sorry this is awkward everyone is just staring and its a fun cookout everyone drinking having a good time...i ain't trying to have a throw down yelling match. I was like abort this conversation immediately sorry im sorry yeah cool sorry yep im sorry k anyway....how bout them O's! am i right???!

Hope the I am sorry was more like an explanation/answer than an affirmation, that girl was just crazy doe

in all fairness, you did make a generalization. because not all women nor men would handle the situation like you are saying. i dislike feminist so many reasons but that is why i refrain from such stereotypical/generalized statements.

And it was more or less to kind of give the other side that you don't need to not be friends with this girl over that situation. But....then.....

i think it's just a matter of how you say it and what you are saying. people hear only what they want to hear in certain situations. so all the while you are just giving your input, she is seeing it as you enforcing your opinion on her. at least that's how i see it. oh well though, you did in diffusing the situation, no need to argue over something so trivial.
