I think as you get older, you become more selective in the things you do and the people you hang out with.

Well, at least for me it is. My wife and I have friends who are married but don't have kids and we aren't able to hang out as much due to us having a kid.

And I've learned in the past two years that we've done more activities/events just as an immediate family rather than getting folks to join in. It's more convenient and less stressful.

It's life and I feel friends, family, and habits all go through seasons.

Yea. I've seen when kids come in the picture priorities change. And it's all good. I understand kids have to come first.


I think my best friend is just like you. Married with two young kids, and I believe you two are the same age as well. I couldn't be happier for the guy.
