The social media thing doesn't really matter that much. If you send them a pic of a shoe you want to sell with your username or email they'll probably fast track you and verify you within a few hours.

Nah, I know some people who got verified with 0 posts on the account they submitted. Makes no sense why they still bother asking aside from possibly trying to prove a real person is trying to sell shoes.
