speaking of cvs. Back when I was there in 2015 I was with my girl at the time. we were at old fremont street walking one night, a lil later so it wasnt so crowded. decided to hit the cvs and get some drinks/snacks. no big deal. no. big. deal...
we walk out after and theres 2 police, waiting. waiting for us. Im like hmmm, ohhkay. And theyre like yeah, you jaywalked, its illegal blah blah blah safety - ok sure sure, people are drunk, people need to be careful - but then they separate us (which was odd) and each start asking us questions individually, like how long we been together, where we're from, hows things going in the relationship etc etc. a few more of those kinda questions and they look over at eachother and nod and let us on our way - after like 2 of those questions, i was furious - "what business is it of yours where im from" type anger
after, my girl was equally as confused and im like, you realize they thought i was your pimp. shes like no way, but thats the only conclusion I could come up with here. So bro, do not jaywalk there or at least make damn sure no police are around
or you got a possible fine or a pimping and pandering charge coming your waythats my vegas story at least. and me and my girl argued a majority of that trip. good times. def hit the caesars buffet.

Fk LVPD. I lived there for a short period of time in 2015 off Nellis which I guess is the hood. I was waiting for the bus one time I had been waiting for what felt like forever. I stepped to the curb to look down the street to see if I could see the bus coming. 10 seconds later a cop pulls up on a bike screaming at me to get my hands up, then a patrol car comes a few seconds after that. Now I got 3 cops yelling at me all of them screaming different things, "don't move," "get your hands up,""get down," "what's your name." I'm shook I'm just trying to get to work. I stand there frozen they push me back towards the bus stop bending my arms and wrist in all kinds of ways. The bike cop stars yelling again what's your name what are you doing. I manage to get out I'm looking for the bus. They sit me down handcuffed run all my isht at the end of being harassed and assaulted they issue me a citation for "attempted Jay walking." Not Jay walking.. attempted Jay walking. I didn't step into the street or nothing just to the edge of the curb to look down the street. That citation ended up being almost $500 after court fees. LV got some of the most crooked cops in the country.
