For reference, "Dead End Hip Hop" is the name of the main group/company. They started doing music reviews years ago, and still do. "Is The Mic Still On" is their main podcast that comes out weekly, probably their main product that features the core of the group. They also do a movie/tv-review podcast called "Frames Per Second", they also do bi-weekly Versus-style battles with "Odd Fridays", and they also have "Dead End Sports" and "Dead End Gaming", among other properties. They are based out of Atlanta and have a really interesting and diverse group of perspectives in the group (mostly dudes in their 30s/40s), probably similar to the NikeTalk crowd. A great mix of silliness and discussion of serious topics without all of forced comedy and fabricated drama of stuff like JBP and the like. Feefo and Rod (two guys in the crew) are also sneaker guys. Don't know if they were ever NT guys though.

Nah, only time I’ll answer or call back off the clock is my boss because he usually just wants to know when I’m coming in so he can work on my truck before so I’ll help him plan.

I got a work phone but I just leave it at work. they said they are going to take it back since I don’t answer. Don’t threaten me with a good time. if my boss doesn’t have a problem with me not answering they shouldn’t.

I was acting manager for a previous job and took a 2 week vacation. My backfill was texting me day one with questions. On maybe day 3 my very annoyed gf snatched my phone from me and text dude to leave me alone until I get back

At my current job I gave my two main clients my personal cell. But when I’m off I tell them explicitly they can contact me via text if something urgent comes up but my response may be delayed.

I ain't really cared about inflation in the stores, in housing, or at the pump. Ain't happy about it, but dont let it get to me given how I have no control over it.

But gas hit 6 dollars by me yesterday. And that's got me tight. Imma call a representative or something about this ****.

I literally got gas last Tuesday for 4.80 a gallon. 6 dollars 7 days later. Nah, somebody finna hear about this.
