it's an enjoyable game. I pretty much influenced my friends into playing it once I learned how to play it. it's practically easy. for example: when you open a box and it states "1", it means that 1 of those 8 boxes that surround that 1 BOX that you opened, has 1 bomb while the rest of the 7 are open. 2 means 2 bombs surrounding it, and so forth and so on. very easy.Never understood Minesweeper just would fire it up to see how many boxes I could hit before losing
If they ever raise the price on da hot dog and drink combo will know its da end times
With my boss I always answer on my days off. We're on good terms so I don't mind. I would even answer when one of the reps from the service dept calls me on my day off too but few weeks ago when she called, at the end of our convo I told her it's my day off & she told me next time don't pick up my call on your day off. She called an hour ago, it's my day off so I rejected the callcurious, do you answer texts on your day off? they know not to text me. just saw a text from earlier today and thought to myself, "ya could figure this **** out yourself or wait til a couple days"
I picked up a basically brand new M1 MacBook air for the low last week. Lost of deals on Facebook marketplace if you have cash ready and do your diligence. My laptop is damn near 10 yrs old. Been thinking about getting a new one soon.
Lil kev and Weebay had a few Samos fits here and there lol. But they had us looking and talking like Any city America.
Dope boys round that time were heavy into Mosions, Samos, Cnote, Dopes, New Balance, Throwback nikes, golds etc etc.
I know the wardrobe isn't cheap. But c'mon. Gunit in Baltimore? Lol. Dudes barely wore capris on the show.
And the accents man. Smh
Said this in the other thread. I'm from here. We weren't rocking no damn g-unit etc. most street dudes actually supported the local black businesses and rocked street wear like "Mosions" and "Samos.". Even we-r-one. That **** is expensive though. $160 just for a sweat suit. Foam posited, New balances, Nike boots, shell heads, Pumas. Absolutely no air forces or wheat timbs. Just beef and brocs By 06-07, everybody was wearing small white t's, trues etc.
But enough about fashion...
This is a damn lie. *****s in Baltimore been on dopes. And especially the Duncan’s.
Idk who dude is, but he for sure lying
Hold on, yall were wearing Duncans forreal?
Yeah. DC dudes rocked huge shirts with slim bootcut jeans. Always thought it looked weird. This was a typical Baltimore ***** wardrobe back then. You were much more likely to see dudes draped in Samos, than a mainstream brand. Especially ova west.

04-06 was the baggy era. And we wore Capris [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji]. No denim or cargo shorts. But dudes were mainly rocking our own street wear brands. The two most popular ones were "Mosions" mainly worn on the Eastside, and "Samos" mainly on the West side.
Every now and then, you'd see somebody from the wire in Mosions, Samos, Hohfs, Cashland or even We-R-One if you paid close attention. But it was rare simply because they were so expensive. An average t - shirt like the one below could run you $40-$50. Hoodies like $100. That's why the dope boys loved Em and they made sweat suits to match foamposites and retro nikes back then. I always thought it was run by OG dope boys who had some bread. Examples below:
Then in '06 everyone got on the small shirt, true religion, seven jeans, Abercrombie American eagle and rockstar wave. By 08, an expensive Lacoste or polo shirt, seven jeans and foamposites, pumas, Nike boots or new balances was the standard look.
Don't even get me started on how inaccurate the wardrobe of the wire reflecting Baltimore city fashion at that time was....[emoji]128580[/emoji].
Or the plethora of NYC actors not even attempting to try a "Baltimore accent".
LOVE the wire. But it's always annoyed us locals how they missed the nuances of inner city Baltimore culture. It's very unique and nuanced.
A lot of us in Baltimore didn't even watch the show on the initial run because we didn't feel it was as authentic. A few posts from the thread regarding this:
