Dope pickups. And good idea to stay away from the mall, lol. I also need to stay away from Kohl's. I dropped $126 on boxers couple of weeks ago & yesterday another $153 on some shors & button downs. It would've been $193 but luckily they sent me a 30% off coupon in the mail few days ago & it came in clutch. It's only half a block from my place so super accessible whenever. I told myself I'm avoiding Kohl's for the rest of the yearWent back to the same mall with my nephews this time. Couldn’t resist and picked up another pair of shoes for $9.99.
In my defense, it was the last pair in the store AND they were my size

Ah damn, that sucks. No worries as there's always a next time. Your situation reminded me of when me & my brother went to Chicago back in 2011. In my duffle bag which may have been used by my dad a few times tucked away in a small discreet lil corner pocket was his marine knife. I have no idea how TSA here in nyc & TSA in Chicago let me on the plane with that in my bag. It had to have shown up when they scan the carry-on's through the machine. This is an internet pic & it's very close to what I had on me. I only noticed it when we got back home & I was emptying out my bag. Thank God they didn't see it...it wouldn't have ended well for me with me being Muslim

To this day I wonder how I was able to board those planes not once but TWICE with that knife on me- was it laziness on TSA's part, was it overlooked human error perhaps? Or it never showed up on the xray machine? Indeed Allah looks out & protects us all, Ameen.zmaqbool Man you flew under the radar. That’s the type of knife my seed has.

TSA is dumb as rocks. I got held up for 45 minutes because they said candle was suspicious but then didn’t have anyone to check it for residue. Like just keep the candle then and let me go idiots.

I’ve done that too - but never as big a knife as that. A few years ago I flew 4 times the same week (London and back twice) and at the fourth check security found a screwdriver in my bag that I had forgotten was there. I’m convinced it’s all a show - they’re just profiling and they’re the ones who get their bags checked.
A couple years ago they made me put my whole toiletries bag back through the x-ray because they found a tin of shoe polish in my bag - and somehow it being in the clear plastic bag did something different? I also learned that day that shoe polish is a liquid…

not sure if already told the story here that we got held due to my baby's "aveeno" lotion for his eczema allergy. the funny thing was that they allowed my to go thru even with some metals on me but not my son's lotion just because it exceeded their 100ml and clear container policy. possibly the worst and most stressful scenario I had to deal with and I could have punched people for their inhumanity.
