the thread about nothing...

Nah man, they want no parts of it they just sit there or swerve around me.

I’ve never been pulled over for working but one time they came up on me guns drawn saying I was stealing our own equipment.

1. And WHY do you think they don't really mess with you?

2. How did you end up getting out that situation? Damn, sorry you had to go through that.

My bro caught this from his apt. window- guy was parallel parking & backed up right into a fire hydrant . Driver wasn't the old man in the pic but rather his son. And this car comes with a reverse camera like C'MON! 🤣🤣

Notice the jersey plates. Suburban cats aren't used to parallel parking in tight city streets :lol

I think because it’s so specialized and tbh they have no idea what they’re even looking at. I also have permits to pretty much break every single law regarding weight and hours of service. If I get pulled into the scale on the interstate they never even weigh me just tell me to go.

It’s all good, could have been worse. When they realized I wasn’t stealing it they just started yelling at me to hurry tf up because the neighbors are sleeping. Idk man police are always on some bs.

It’s one of those things that gets lost in translation, I hope

I remember reading my Super Street import car magazine during my college days. They had a cool RX-7 but had this gigantic sticker on the door that read “Pray to God of BOMEX. I hope your speed over the rival”. It had me confused but sorta understood, lol.

Yezzir. Also helped them stand out in the crowded body kit maker scene back then. It was them, veilside, wings west and a couple others

If this is really legitimate, then it's a nice outcome. That's what they get if they were really that uneducated about the market. A high percentile of resellers are truly uneducated about the basic concept of supply and demand because they fail to realize there's too much supply with too many people trying to resell the same product compounded with low demand, so that means prices will be devalued by default.

Speaking of the resale market, I saw a resale shoe store close down in Del Amo Mall a few weeks ago. Despite it being closed, I saw the employees gathering stuff to remove from the store through the glass. One done, several more to go. Those stores have been a plague going around in damn near every mall nowadays.

This is funny because it's the polar opposite with me about malls nowadays. I used to like going to them just to hang out and not buy anything when I was younger. I used to enjoy frequenting them in the late '90s to the mid-2000s when I had to handle business in them. My enjoyment with frequenting them began to wane during the last decade.

I just go to pick up something or make returns or exchanges in the present. And I find myself going to malls that are out of my vicinity more than before. I'm pretty burnt out with malls closer to me.
