This is entirely anecdotal but my best friend is bi and wanted to avoid men for a while so she changed her profile etc to lesbian and even she’s struggling with the women on dating apps.

If she looks for men it’s zero issues but she’s like genuinely struggling in the lesbian category.

When we go out together, she always gets hit on by a multitude of dudes but it’s never the same with women.
Some months ago she suggested going to an gay bar for a bit. A bar ran by women and mostly filled with women, and somehow I had more gay dudes trying to approach me
