I know we already went over this, but what's with the irrational hatred of reddit? It's a cool site that can provide tons of laughs, useful info, helpful members who do a lot of great things for each other. I'd be willing to bet a lot of funny things you've laughed at online came from reddit.

The layout isn't for everyone, but I know NT could sure benefit from their up/downvote system at times.

What's so significant about the wait period that it needs to be brought back?
All it does is make ppl "wait" right?
How is that better than mods scanning new ppl's posts for spam, etc?

In theory, its purpose was for new members who were joining NT had to wait so they could read the rules, get the hang of things, so they wouldn't sign up and immediately start posting "Where can I get Jordan XIs?" in the Sports forum. Plus, it also serves to prevent banned members from creating a new screen name immediately after being banned.

That makes sense.

I wonder how much of the positive outweighed the bad.
