tough draw for spurs.. Im just glad we didn't get group G

Pretty easy draw for the Gunners, Spurs vs. Bremen are going to be the games that decide who goes on in that group.

Its gonna come down for Spurs if they want to make every effort to advance in the CL or if they want to qualify again next year. They are a good team, but they are a different team depending on if Ledley King plays or not, and everyone knows he can't play a European game in midweek and a Premiership game on the weekend, so that's their dilemma.

Really looking forward to it this year, I don't have a EPL team but a close friend is a big Tottenham supporter so I like to root for them, but I am a Milan fan so hopefully they make it through

Chelsea and Barcelona always seem to get easy opponents in the group stages...
sick.gif

i predict Barca(group D) to finish top of their group with a +25 goal difference...

just to get back to some transfer news...

I've read in a few Juventus forums that Diego is as good as sold to Wolfsburg for 15m euro (a loss of 10m that Juve payed for him last year from Werder Bremen) and he has already passed a medical and will be presented tomorrow.

And that Juve is in serious talks to replace Diego with Fabio Quagliarella, Not too sure how i feel about this personally, never really a fan a Quagliarella.

Also talk of a swap deal between Juve and Villarreal, Juan Capdevila to Juve and Fabio Grosso going to Spain, I like that if true.

And finally, I've read that Juventus is looking to make a move for Antonio Cassano (
pimp.gif
) as a possible replacement for Diego instead of Quags. Not sure how true this is but it would be a hell of a move for Juventus to sign Cassano. Either way I think someone has to be on the way to Turin, and there HAS TO BE (hopefully) a plan in place to replace Diego at the SS spot, Del Piero cant play every game, Hopefully its Cassano.

....all just internet speculation.

I bet you Cassano does not make that move if Samp held on and made it to the group stages of the Champions league.  Also, I forgot that Real and Milan were in the same group last year.  That is disappointing.  I wanted to see Real play Utd.

Inter has a tough group. Not the hardest though, they should win it.

The CL group stage has been super boring for several years now...too many crappy teams and it feels way too drawn out (6 matches played over 4 months). Anyways, group G looks like the most interesting group but there's little reason to think Ajax have much of a chance to finish amongst the top 2.

I dont know about Barca having a +25 GD
laugh.gif
. They should take a dump over Copenhagen but Panathinakos and Rubin Kazan wont just bow down like that.

I don't put much stock in a lot of these websites and their "rumors" but, if true this sucks...
I think Arsene pretty much turned his attention elsewhere once he played in their qualifier and became cup tied
