Is this true about Maicon? I've heard him referred to as the best RB in the world so many times leading up to, and after the World Cup. Hell today the FSC guys called him the best defender in the world. Can he really have fallen off that much?

Should of sold this loser to Madrid when they had the chance
He's been terrible all season. Both in offense and defense. I don't think he's fallen completely off because there are times he looked like this last season and bounced back, but it's getting ridiculous at this point.
Stankovic, Motta, Mariga, Cambiasso all out... midfield gets owned badly. Sneijder can't do everything.
And PLEASE buy a god damn winger and an extra midfield player that can actually PASS in jan.
On another note, Spurs looked fantastic. Deserved this win, good luck to y'all in the knockout stages.

So Bale destroys Inter 2 weeks ago, gets shut down by Man Utd a few days ago and then destroys Inter yet again today? Gotta put a lot of the blame on Benetiz who did not prepare his team well enough to win today. Injuries had a part to play as Benetiz's team selection was limited but the guy got his tactics all wrong. Zanetti and Muntari as your CM duo...really now?
Bale is an exceptional talent but he still needs to work on his game, particularly being more consistent, being more unpredictable and being a bit more selfish in front of goal. The guy basically ran a straight line down the left flank for 180 minutes against Inter and it worked almost every single time
I hope Bale remains with Spurs just so that the Premiership continues to remain competitive. Spurs are on the come up...they just need some extra depth but they are a pretty good and entertaining side. Getting to the 2nd round will be huge for them because of the extra revenue which could be used to bring in some better players in the coming transfer windows. However they must finish in the top 4 again this season if they want to attract quality players like van der vaart.

Have to agree with both Smokey and Tevez.. VDV and GB are carrying the spurs but Inter did look out of sorts today.. United With the easy win.. although Nani got injured..glad to see Bebe find the back of the net.. he looks very strong out there... Barca giving up that equalizer so quickly after scoring is horrible.. pep needs to get them boys in line if they are planning on making any real push this yr
