Now we just need to string together a winning streak and push to get into the playoffs.

who doesn't like rivalry among close teams especially geographical?, its a convo starter, but someone few pages someone new said how can they support a team if its so distant from them calling it stupid, like me from the bay rooting for ATL falcons is stupid instead of Raider or Niners you'll get looked at. so proof is needed for team allegiance I guess?... just told you my proof if anyone really cared and I wasn't calling you out either NawlinsjunkieOriginally Posted by nawlinsjunkie

Personally, I didn't say anything about connection to London. It's that you like teams that HATE each other (Arsenal and Spurs)

is this the same team that will be without gerrard and has lost/draw most of their preseason matches?Originally Posted by Noelair24

Liverpool primed now to take the Premier League

Madrid, Chelsea (depending on AVB finishes the transfer window), and Milan.
Barcelona losing to a trash team like Chivas shows that those games aren't worthy of considering serious the coaches are tinkering with the lineup testing new players.Originally Posted by Curious24

Not forgetting to mention the best players don't play in all of the games.
Can't wait till the season starts

Its always a lose lose situtation for the underdogs. If you lose to a team like Man U, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter etc. you suck and are division 2 soccer but if you win then obviously the other team wasn't trying.
Anyway i don't like chivas but they showed they can play against the big dogs. Im a Barca fan and dont think not having Messi is a valid excuse.
Like I always say the gaps in pro soccer are not that big.
