Lol. I'm not knocking Messi at all. 91 goals is no small feat. Ronaldo can do it all. He scores, he assists and he TRACKS back. Better overall player.

Messi had more goals AND assists though? I don't get you guys argument. Ronaldo is a great player, but he just happens to play in a era where Messi Is simply better.

Overall attacking player? Does he score with the header? Can he score with both feet with ease? You already know the answer to these questions so I won't bother to type them out.

Even take it back to the last World Cup where all he was doing was shooting from 30+ meters out and his only goal came against North Korea on accident.
@ Messi being dependent on Xavi and Iniesta. Something like 20 or so of his 91 goals were a result of assists from them, yeah he's clearly not @#$% without them I swear Barca haters don't even watch them play the majority of the time, otherwise they'd know that practically NO ONE on Barca did @#$% for the 11-12 season besides Messi

Ronaldo has 1 or 2 good matches then goes ghost for 2 years. I mean if you're gonna call Messi the tap in king, how many times has Ronaldo almost screwed Portugal over by missing those same tap ins? Euro 12 could've been a disaster if not for players like Varela coming through in the clutch
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Ronaldo is garbage (I'd only put Messi and Iniesta over him) but his fans don't seem to realize how silly they sound when the reasons for Messi not deserving an award apply to Ronaldo too
And for free kicks, please look up Ronaldo's free kicks' conversion to attempts ratio

All I know is.. If I had to pick one player to build my team around..
It wouldn't be Messi.
If CR had helped Portugal beat Spain in the Euros he would've hands down had a better season.
Since he didn't.. It was a toss-up in my opinion.

I was damn pissed that day cause before extra time, we could've easily won if it wasn't for the wasted chances
Spain was playing shabby and we should've taken advantage...Even before Ronaldo's 90th minute waste, Almeida could've scored multiple times, but he is who is Patricio kept us in the game in extra time but I kinda got the feeling that we weren't gonna win the PK shootout, we just looked too mentally/physically fatigued by that point Do we really have no one better than Postiga and Almeida up front? Hope someday Oliveira will live up to his hype
