The Ultimate Soccer Thread 2012-2013 Vol. 3 Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga etc

I would take Man Utd over Chelsea all day. Tho I hate both, I detest Chelsea with a passion. :lol

Bradford beat Aston Villa today. Suddenly Arsenal's loss to them doesnt look quite as bad 8o :)

When he's in form, he can be pretty much turns into a wall.

The same can be said about any good goalkeeper though.

Cech, Casillas (until the end of Euro 12 at least :lol), Buffon, Neuer>>>>Hart.

It made my day when Pirlo embarrassed him after his stupid @#$ antics in Euro

Regarding Theo's contract @ArsenalReport : Most papers are today running with the story that Theo has been offered a £100k/week five-year contract, and will sign very soon. Or rather £96,000/week if we're being picky, seeing as the papers claim it's a £25m contract. The Guardian claims the contract is £90k/week + £3m sign-on bonus, taking the overall contract to £26.4m over five years. From the club's perspective it doesn't matter if it's a bonus lump sum or weekly wage, budget planning stays the same.

Yeah but you know English.

they'll always pump their English players to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. And since you can see it says "voted by members in England" you can see why Hart will come out on top.

Another perfect example is the hype of this kid Zaha. 2011-12 Season: 49 games 9 goals, 5 assists. 2012-13 Season: 28 appearances. 5 goals. In the CHAMPIONSHIP. Yet the media is hailing him as the next big thing worth 20m pounds to any PL club. :{

Regarding Villa to Arsenal: According to the Mirror....

Sandro Rosell (Barca's president) was speaking to Catalan radio station RAC1, Rosell said: "I completely rule out the transfer of Villa during the winter market.

"He is ours and we need him, there is a lot of the season left."

Hangeland would be a steal for a lot of teams, Arsenal and Spurs could do alot worse

I think Sissoko will come to England

Adebayor will unretire again to rep Togo in the ACON.

Related note: ESPN3 will stream every game this year. No relying on dodgy streams this time around... :hat

South American U-20 play starts tonight too. BeIn Sport has it.

I thought Spurs already picked him up.

Yeah English players get hyped so much its annoying

I agree with you to a certain degree but then I think about Chelsea's Frank Lampard who doesn't get that much respect from fans/media in general...Fans that know realize how solid he's been...Might be due to the many Chelsea haters...I don't like them but Lampard is a solid footballer...
