Yep, not a particularly good half, but 2-0 up I'll take it. Obviously a dangerous scoreline (especially with this team this season), but hopefully they will build in quality and be able to finish it off.

DDG couldn't have seen that.

Welp... can't say they deserved more than what they got... lucky to get a point, really.

Well done, Chelsea CBs.

In Italian news...Roma/Lazio in the Coppa Italia final. First time that has happened.

Anybody want to set an over/under on how many get stabbed that day?

There were six for the relatively meaningless league game. Gotta be at least double-digits. :\

Watching boca jrs play, Riquelme is nowhere of what he used to be. Damn shame :smh:

To be fair, he's like 35 now. Doesn't really have that burst to elude challenges anymore, and goes missing as players of his type tend to, but still classy on the ball and with the pass. Still wish he could have made it at Barca, but van Gaal had no use for a specialist playmaker who didn't track back.

Boca were pretty much overrun in this game, but they've been poor lately anyway. I doubt they do much in the next round. Argentine football has fallen off in recent years - too many sides designed to be functional rather than aesthetic, but they just end up being neither. The set-up as a whole seems to not have been the same since Pekerman left.

Brazillian footy has been on a steady come-up, though. Atletico MG-Sao Paulo in five. Should be good.
