I don't understand what's going on with Michonne. Who is she looking for again? I forgot.

And what's wrong with that guy from the Wire? Didn't understand his scenes at all. Is he an alcoholic?
michonne is after the governer from last season and yes dude is an alcoholic he went str8 for the liquor

his decision not to drink is what almost killed him

Already been said but....

That one pig is dying of an unknown cause. Hershel's a veterinarian. Soooooooo.... why exactly is Rick wondering the whole episode "why dis pig dying"? I believe Hersel was even talking to Rick right next to where they keep the pigs about "Keeping a gun on him". He really couldn't just say "okay fine.....hey Hersh, you mind taking a look at this pig while your over here?"

Something tells me that whatever dude died of in the prison is a mutation of the virus.

Look at his eyes when he opened them, they weren't milky white- they were like bloodshot red.

They kept focusing on the walker with the messed up eyes outside the prison too....

That's pretty interesting. Didn't think of that.

It was pretty weird how they kept going back to that one walker.

You could be right.

as a fan of the walking dead, i will continue to watch the show, good or bad. mainly because as good the comic is, i like how theyre going in different directions with the show. with kirkman being such a big contributor, its interesting to see how he would have done things differently.

for the most part, i like the season opener. while i do agree that keeping the gov alive was a mistake and they should of used this season to start the alexandria story, maybe they can keep it interesting with him still around because you know hes gonna be out to get them

once i saw the chick in the woods, for a second i was hoping they would touch on the hunters story arc. do it like they did dale, keep rick hostage, talk about cannaibalism around the camp fire, rick gets loose and goes HAM on the hunters. now that would have been a good season opener

from watching the preview episode 2 sneak peak

Rick mentions something to Carl about feeding the animals "worms" for extra protein maybe that has something to do with it

I'm starting to wonder if this show always moved at this slow of a pace, or it just seems like that now because I watched the first 2 1/2 seasons consecutively on Netflix?

I wish Rick would have said that aloud, just like that

Season premiere was nice especially the zombies dropping from the roof. :smokin Looking forward to the season!

Suspension of disbelief, bros. It's a show about a zombie apocolypse and we're complaining about the show not being realistic enough?:lol

AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Debut Smashes Records; 16.1M Watch

:x

The zombie apocalypse relentlessly moved upward and took over TV again last night. The Walking Dead returned for its fourth season on Sunday to series record viewership. Airing at 9 PM, the AMC show was watched by 16.1 million with 10.4 million among adults 18-49. The Walking Dead’s Season 3 debut on October 14, 2012 was watched by 10.9 million viewers and 7.3 million in the 18-49 and 25-54 demos. Thought better later in the season, those were records for the show at the time and then the most-watched drama telecast in basic cable history. NBC’s airing of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington ******** game last night was watched by 19.65 million according to fast nationals from Nielsen. However, written by new showrunner Scott Gimple, who took over from the exited Glen Mazzara in January, Sunday’s “30 Days Without An Accident” episode bested the Season 3 finale of the drama that was the cable powerhouse’s previous series high. That March 31st episode was watched by 12.4 million viewers and 8.1 million among the key demo. Before that, the 12.3 million and 6.8 million among adults 18-49 who watched The Walking Dead’s Season 3 mid-cycle premiere on February 11 was the series high for the show that has constantly beat big Big 4 network shows like Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and NCISin the vital demo. Sunday’s premiere also topped the series high of 10.3 million viewers and 6.7 million in the key demo that Breaking Bad’s heavily promoted and anticipated finale got for AMC on September 29. In metered markets, The Walking Dead got a 7.5/11 last night, way up from the 5.4/8 the series had for its last season opener last October

Why? The show is not nearly that good.:lol

Mediocre show. Ridiculous ratings. :lol

Dudes watching a zombie show on cable TV based on a comic book for realism, a deep plot and great writing :lol

TWD has always gotten great numbers for AMC. My friends still love the show and don't point out all the flaws like nt does.
