i'm really digging the atmosphere they puttin down already this season.  makin rick come face to face with what they threw at us last season.  beth, who hasn't really been a stand out character at all, gettin some real face time (

 she's cute) and showin how this world has affected her.  cutty, too damn sensitive for an apocalypse type situation 

.  kids not really able to be kids in this world, carol bein smart enough to realize this.  a different strain on the virus gonna force them out of the prison, who knows what's gonna happen?  eh, i liked it.  it's great how they showed that everyone was gettin it together, the camp is fleshed out, everyone has their roles, there's a, 'council', the original members we've been following since the first season are getting that due respect and finally getting what they've tried to build for three seasons now and it's all gonna go up in smoke and they're gonna have to start over again.

Maybe I need to clarify myself. The comic book storyline compared to the show is different. How? The show took various characters and concepts and added it's own twist from the comic book storyline. For a casual fan who simply enjoys zombies and drama television doesn't necessarily HAVE to go out and read every trade of The Walking Dead to fully understand the show. Is it recommended? Yes, I would recommend someone to go out and read the comic book. But for a casual fan, they don't necessarily have to. The show alone is good enough to understand the story and appreciate for what it is.

Maybe I need to clarify myself. If said person is a twd TV show fan, they should check out the comic.

I recommend any casual fans that like the show to check out TWD video game by Telltale Games and if you like the game I would recommend reading the comics. After playing the game and starting to read the comics, its getting harder and harder to appreciate the show. The season premiere wasn't bad but the TWD season premieres and season finales always had some sort of bang. Hopefully there are no more luls in the show like last season.

That Telltale game was insanely well written. Voice acting top notch. Real tears at the end, b. Can't wait for season 2.

Why do people still argue with folks that don't like the show but still watch it?  

Of course you're going to find flaw after flaw.  YOU DON'T LIKE IT!  That's the way things work in life.  

A better question is why on earth would you spend an hour wasting your time on something you don't like?  And then you're gonna spend time on the internet discussing that thing you don't like?

watched it half asleep the other day. Felt like that Rick scene with that girl was filler. For an opener it didn't really do much other than the last scene.

it's getting boring

I can't wait for this entire arc to be over with.

this has ALWAYS been my biggest issue with the comic book and its why the show, at times, is better. The pacing on the book sucks and it always has. There are long periods of boring
