The Walking Dead - Official Thread

It's a reach but I think the JSS girl is part of the wolves.

Also, that wolves run was just the first raid. One of them said something along the lines of "It's not my choice" when Morgan asked why he was doing this.

First 3 eps are good, season seems cool, it seems better written and better directed.
I don't feel like I'm just stuck in the woods, walking, kill a few walkers with some intense music and roll commercial, give your mate a pep talk, walk some more, music kicks in walker gets close enough to tackle you, kill walker, commercial, walk some more, group pow wow again, cue snarls and music and kill walkers, Toyota scion commercial

You need to read more of Dr King's work than one speech, Einstein. You'll be surprised.

Can you link me to the speech about TWD? How about the one about being an Internet activist?

There's something brewing with Morgan, but the skepticism won't let the character develop due to some people being upset that one useless character was never developed (T-Dog ), one beloved character from the comic was butchered (tyrese) and another character is not important enough even though she's been a central figure for half of the shows run (Michonne)., can't please these people.

even tho she still alive, theyve done michonne the dirtiest

andrea basically turned her back on her when she met the governor

and then rick was about to sacrifice her until merle realized how messed up it was

The way I see it they've built a dream team of survivalists and at this point no one can really pose a threat to Ricks group, it just took Carol alone to defend the town, had the rest of the squad been there, the Wolves wouldn't have lasted 3 minutes.

So in turn characters begin to get neutered in order to bring balance.

Anyways Carol Carol Carol....her character is not Emmy worthy acting wise (she's a good actress, but chill) however she is the best character in the entire length of this show, her development is what makes this show, it's absolute genius to bring out a survivalist out of a battered wife...she's AMAZING, she's not emotional, she's smart and collected...when they first entered Alexandria she knew exactly how to portray herself and fly under the radar, without thinking in this episode she knew exactly what to do in order to get the job done, off came the flower cardigan and on came the bloody W...she went full God mode catching bodies left and right....Carol is TWDs golden ticket...every other core character that's still alive were intro not that much different than they still are, she's a completely different person than she was at the beginning and that's due to the world they live in now...I think this is the first episode I see her break in a while....even when I thought she was gonna hold back on the killing she without hesitation stabs that dude in the head

Love her!

Wolves would've dusted the remaining folks at Alexandria provided that they had guns.

Carol did her thing as they were limited to hand weapons bruh. Not an even comparison.

Wolves with guns vs Ricks core group with guns?...

Wolves would still catch that work, a master archer, a master swordsman, Morgantello, a melee specialist, a master assassin/strategist, bro and that's just Daryl, Michone, Morgan, Abraham and Carol....Daryl took out a tank...lmao....the squad too skrong.

so you choosing not to leer correctly again famb?

I said the remaining folks at Alexandria as in those who stayed there while Rick and the others worked on that herd.

Only competent people at Alexandria at the time of the attack was Carol, Rosita, Carl (sorta) and Maggie. If it was just them (with guns) versus all of the Wolves who showed up (with guns), it would've been a wrap.

Obviously if group was whole, Wolves would have RIP'd.

I been saying the Wolves are weak AF. Hoping a more competent rival will cross paths with Rick's group this season.

So you believe those who attached were the cream of the crop they had to offer? Those weren't pawns but top soldiers?

 :smh:

3 tho.

put me on famb

 for real for real

Those were def Pawns....they looked like bait set up to weed out the herd and find the real threats, AKA Carol.

I only viewed Morgan's actions as a juxtaposition by the writers.

I think it played out well to showcase how him and Carol was both handling business but in different ways.

I think he will soon realize he can no longer afford to be peaceful because he is no longer only protecting himself but an entire community.

thank you.

Can't stand this dude Morgan, especially after the comments about him polishing that mop stick

You're in a world where there's savages outchea and you're still not bout that life :smh:

Pawn or top soldier, they are outmatched with the artillery Rick's group's got. They dont got **** on the governor.

Do you actually know that my guy?

Did you see their leader yet or what their numbers look like? Have you confirmed that they have zero munitions and only have melee weapons in their armoury?

This is my observation:

Wolves have all types of information about Alexandria and should know theyre equipped with guns yet still came in with axes

The Wolves that held Morgan at gunpoint took a risk by not having any ammo

If they werent low on guns and ammo, Wolves wouldve stormed Alexandria with some considering the first point (consequently, many of them died because they brought knives to a gunfight)

False. With Aaron finding his pack underneath a dead Wolf he confirmed to the audience and to himself that if he did not leave it at the food depot with the pictures and info regarding Alexandria, then perhaps they would've never found, scoped out, and attacked the camp.

Also with the Wolves admitting that it "wasn't their call" leads to believe that there is someone else calling the shots. Someone that might look at these Wolves as expendable to send into Alexandria with no munitions to test the group. You cannot definitely say they have no weapons just the same that I cannot claim that they do.

However, you should not underestimate this clearly immediate threat based on what you have seen so far. No one has the full picture yet boul.

But Aaron did leave the pictures behind, so how is that false? I dont know if those pictures had shots of guns but Im sure theyve heard gunshots coming from Rick's group. Someone also mentioned there being a lot of blind spots so I'd imagine if the Wolves know what theyre doing, they would have been spying on the group before planning the attack.

I did not say they dont have guns; I said if they did have guns, they likely lack it. The attack wouldve been successful if they had guns, which they could use to storm the gun room in Alexandria to reup. If they did have plenty of guns, they wouldve devised a better plan of attack instead of losing a bunch of their members. Now the Wolves are weaker and the Alexandrians who died in the attack werent that valuable.
