The Walking Dead - Official Thread

The Governor sent Merle and some guys to kill her when she left the town.
Also when she was snooping around the captured vehicles from the army she found some things that were suspicious i forgot though

Nah, dude was begging for his daughter's life (*even though she was a walker/biter) and she put the sword through her mouth... cold blooded.

Then she stabs him in the eye, :lol. At least in the comic you get a true sense of why Michonne unleashes her fury on the Governor.

Would've been cool if they played that angle with Maggie.

They are still developing Michonne, and I'm sure Tyrese will be integral as well.

T-Dog brought nothing to the table, I'm not even going to talk about Oscar, :lol

Ya'll really thought Oscar was going to get some playing time in the L. He's the interwebz version of James White. Never understood the fascination. Glad the writers didn't try to force feed that scrub or T-Dog when they were in no shape or form pivotal to the plot. Dead weight.

Tyrese? My man, glad he got put in. He'll carry the team, he'll be very instrumental. Same way Michonne has been.

To you non-comic book readers or don't want to mix the comic with the show. Can any of you answer why Michonne has so much animosity towards the Governor?

He was hospitable, at first, let her leave on her own free will... so can any of you guys answer that for me?

*Those that read the comic, need not answer, :lol
Didn't he send Merle and his group to kill her ?

I think if the show was on hbo they might have gone that route

Did merle say a super racist joke about glen or am I reaching? He let the zombie loose on and said something like, "He's just gonna be hungry again in an hour." meaning, he's eating chinese food, he'll be hungry in an hour? maybe i heard it wrong :/

After thinking about it Ol girl and the Gov should both be walkers right now... Open cuts x fighting in zombie water..just saying, I know it won't happen

Is there a reason why there's only one living black guy on this show at a time?

She knew the Gov was no good from the get go. Taking them hostage and keeping them in the town. He basically turned her only friend and ally in the world against her (andrea) and she knew he probably killed the Army guys. Then he tried to kill her and she found he had all these heads and his zombie daughter locked up. She knows this dude is pyscho and must go. All of that and you still don't get why she would want him dead?? Stop comparing the show to the comic books and you might be able to get it >D

You'd think there'd be hope that like with variant Jaime Lee Curtis, Daryl, Merle, characters that lived longer than they did in the comic, etc. that the writers would at least put some work in to new characters.
The deaths seem so flimsy, non-consequential, and irrelevant. Basically faux shock value to let you know **** is still real. They just become after thoughts and you wonder why even bother? It's worse than in the comics with the way ppl expect Kirkman to kill a main character every arc.
Probably asking too much but Boardwalk Empire is a perfect example of what I'd like TWD to do with characters created for the show and characters from the comic. People love Al just as much as they do Harrow and in some cases more than the real character. Hopefully TWD gets some better writers, maybe a few dudes form LOST or something.

Just like real life!

I don't even watch this show for the writing or acting. Personally both are god awful.. but I'm too invested in the story now and plus, it's effin' Zombies.. so I have to watch. Quality-wise though, this is one of the weaker shows.

Like I said, they should've had Governor get Maggie and Glen yambs.

Comic book Michonne > TV Michonne

I'm thoroughly disappointed with this nonsensical character growth of The Govorner. Dude is just supposed to be a ruthless, evil man. In this he's a victim and has a reason to want revenge.

I could do without feeling bad for the Govorner as he cries over his daughter with a shard of glass in his eye. Shoulda been full on heel a long time ago.

I wouldn't say he's a victim. It's pretty obvious dude has been going around killing and jackin people for weapons and supplies. He was pretty close to raping Maggie. Those that read the comics know how he really gets down, the show just gave you piece of what he's capable of. He's very deceitful. Seems to want to start a new world under his power. His name is the Governor, in a world where everything has gone to hell. I haven't read the book Rise of The Governor, but from understanding he is more of s victim in the beginning. But as far as we can see from the show, dude is a power hungry lunatic.

The next episode is called "Suicide King"

anyone that knows about cards knows that the Suicide King is aka "The King of Hearts" because his sword is stabbing him in the head

1000

so far in the TV series we dont know the roll of "Sasha" but if its his daughter then we might have a clue of the title of the next episode

Remember in the comics when Tyrese daughter had a pack after she lost her virginity (king of heart) and they was supposed to kill each other at the same time but the guy shot to early and Tyrese walked in on it....maybe that will have a play on the title

Thats my problem. He hasn't come off as the same guy from the comics. He's never seemed 100% evil, as he was from the moment he showed up in the comic. I guess some character growth is necessary in this format, but this seems to soften him and whatever he does next.

It'd surprise me if they went that way so fast, but it seems pretty obvious.

After thinking about it Ol girl and the Gov should both be walkers right now... Open cuts x fighting in zombie water..just saying, I know it won't happen

We confirmed last season - everyone's already infected.

Is there a reason why there's only one living black guy on this show at a time?

Or Asian guy.

I think that Merle and Daryl will escape and Daryl will take him to the prison and Merle will betray them to the governor.

Watch the sneak peek for next episode closely...

The ending :eek Don't know why they'd spoil it in the trailer though 8o :rollin

Michonne vs the Govenor :eek

Carl putting in work saving the new groups backs. My dude needs to get the yambs though, he was c-blocked twice already this season :rollin

Carol a lesbian :lol :lol

Next season is looking good... Can't wait to see what happens with Daryl & Merle

i know that but exposing it to an open cut would pretty much be the same as a scratch from a walker right? Doesn't drinking infected water kill you? if so they when it's in contact with a wound it should do the same
