It's been months and my original feeling about the three still stand.

House of Balloons > Echoes of Silence > Thursday

None of them are remotely close to being bad though. It's just I feel HoB and EoS are stronger than Thursday and have fewer skip over tracks (important since each tape only has 9 tracks.)

I went about it a different way. I ranked each tape separately 1 - 9 and then ranked them head to head. This was more difficult then evaluating and proceeding to cut 60 nine year old girls from my soccer team.

1. Wicked Games > Gone > Next
2. The Party/The After Party > .D. > Birds Pt 2
3. Loft Music > Heaven or Las Vegas > Montreal
4. High for This > Outside > Birds Pt 1
5. The Morning > Same Old Song > The Zone
6. The Fall > Lonely Star > House of Balloons
7. XO/Host > Rolling Stone > What You Need
8.  Coming Down > Life of the Party >Initiation
9. Thursday > Knowing > Echoes of Silence


Still don't know how I feel about the way this turned. I started listening to some of the stuff farther down the list and already feel like marking changes.

All that said, EOS is still probably my favorite of the three as a whole, while HOB easily has the most heavyweights.

This dude is amazing. 27 songs in one year and not a single one I don't like.

That surprises me, because Thursday is probably my favorite with EOS a very close second.

That was fun though, and a testament to how unbelievably consistent dude has been so far. We are all blessed.
