THEE OFFICIAL 2010-2011 MIAMI HEAT PLAYOFFS THREAD : CONGRATS MAVS FANS
LeBron passes Kobe in jersey sales
Associated Press

NEW YORK -- If LeBron James' move to Miami made him a villain to some, fans like dressing as a bad guy.

James had the top-selling jersey in the NBA this season, moving past Kobe Bryant to claim the No. 1 spot for the first time since his rookie season in Cleveland in 2004.

Bryant dropped to No. 2 on the list announced Wednesday, while Rajon Rondo moved up to third, one of five Boston Celtics among the top 15.

The list is based on sales on NBAStore.com since the start of the 2010-11 season.

James' popularity was expected to suffer after his much-criticized departure from the Cavaliers last summer. His switch of teams and numbers, from No. 23 to 6, ended the reign of Bryant, who had been No. 1 since the start of the 2008-09 season.

Amare Stoudemire (fourth) and Carmelo Anthony (eighth), in their first seasons with the Knicks, also made the top 10.

Shaquille O'Neal (12th), Ray Allen (13th), Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett rounded out the list.

I'm looking forward to the Playoffs a great deal!!!! This Saturday game was a blow though .. lol ... I thought their first game would be on a Sunday but of course that BOSTON/NY matchup is "better" from a PrimeTime perspective. I can understand that as it's clearly the series that everyone will be watching! But nevertheless it's all about our Squad.. Our Team!!

LETS GET IT HEAT!

@IraHeatBeat: With Minn loss and league-worst record, Heat get 1st pick in 2nd round (31st) from Timberwolves to complete Beasley trade

Honestly, the team I'm most scared about is Chicago. I think a potential eastern conference finals match up with the bulls is scarier than a finals series against the lakers, who this team has proven
they can beat.

I dont think attendance was the problem. It's that A LOT of our fellow South Floridians our what people call "fashionably late" .

Without question I agree that was the case. Nevertheless I'm willing to bet that eventually these "attendance" concerns that other people have brought up will be a moot point as the team continues to progress and exhibit success within the season and postseason! For me personally, I can care less. I'm watching X's and O's and the final BoxScore ..........................and

at all the anti heat posts in this thread.

i don't see how miami doesn't sweep philly unless doug collins comes up with some new "when i coached michael jordan" stories to get his team fired up to steal a game.

that being said, i'll play nice and keep quiet until early june
