How do you want him to be assertive exactly? Y'all want him to be a player that he never was. That's why he was a 2nd Round Pick.
Draymond is a glue guy whose maximum value will always be in doing all those little things that the supertars don't have to do because he's there on the court.
He was never some high volume scorer, he was barely passable as a shooter.

Picking up Dray is not the answer man lol I’d rather a Dlo for Simmons straight up than that
where we ****** up is tryna force Fultz to be a spot up shooter last year in order to please Simmons as a PG. yes he eventually would’ve needed to do that but he was the only guy (other than Jimmy) who could dribble in the HC to get his own shot and run a proper PnR
