i imagine the clippers couldnt care less about being the 1-4 seed considering when they play "away" against the 1 seed lakers, they'll still be playing on their own home court.,

Nope Home court and strength of opponent still matters. Tangible difference in LAC / LAL games. Not drastic but noticeable. 3 / 4 seed and it gets shaky for me
