Last game before the trade deadline and Kuzma has shot 7 shots all game. He’s had a couple good rebounding games in a row though.

RoCo is off the table now. I was thinking about that NYK inquiry for Kuz. I don’t think it makes sense to get rid of him financially as well as long-term because his contract is sooo good and Morris would be a rental since he’d bounce in the offseason.

I'm a bit dubious on the Capela-Collins fit (it's encouraging that Collins has begun to shoot threes though) but all the Hawks gave up was Evan Turner and a middling draft pick in a bad draft, so that's a win.

the third game the clips collapsed and gave up like a 15 pt lead

you may be right but this is funny as hell.
Nobody would ever try to apply this same line of thinking when it comes to Lakers/Clippers season series.

for example:
- season opener: Lakers first game as a completely new roster coming off a china trip. Throw that game out the window. (and they were still in it late)

- Christmas game: Lakers were up by 10 at half and tied after 3. They just collapsed.

The Lakers are never afforded that level of nuance lol.

Anyway, rockets are 2-1 against the clippers and are doubling down on competing with them in the playoffs. Morey has to be hoping that Houston can avoid a LA matchup until the conference finals and that the Clippers can knock off the Lakers in the 2nd round because the Rockets would get smoked by the Lakers’ size.
