There is entirely too much nuance, bias as well as external factors outside of the players ability that are being brought into this conversation by some and not others. Not sure what part that was in reference to but if we're bigging up other players for accolades then we can't put possibly put Pistol Pete in the conversation due to his "empty stats" which players constantly get dogged for. My feelings might be a result of the fact that as I grew older I stopped following CBB as closely. The argument argument just feels incomplete because after college there is another stage of basketball which is considered the pinnacle where some of these guys elevated their play while others fizzled out. It seems like arguing about who the best JV player is to me but folks are into it and there is nothing else basketball related to talk about so I will fall back in this discussion. Hope you and your family are staying during the pandemic!

Can you please tell me how you reached this number?

FOR THE RECORD, between March 4 and March 31 there were 3,736 deaths in the United States. I agree the NBA was the pioneer for COVID-19 reaction in the world of sports but beyond that, as a country, how do you figure THOUSANDS more would have died when the death toll is in the low thousands? Aside from just making the BOLD claim please walk me through some numbers here to substantiate this because I'm not buying it.

Closest modern guy, all of which played 4 years are

Chris Clemons- 442 less
McBuckets- 517 less
Hansbrough- 795 less
Redick- 898 less

Yea I work at a hospital & we literally had to create an ICU b/c the hospital NEXT DOOR doesn’t have enough beds to house patients. The NBA acting swiftly did not slow things down at all. I wish that was how it worked

To be clear, my post wasn’t intended to make myself appear brilliant or omniscient. You posted a very bold claim in a matter of fact tone such that I would have liked to see how you reached that conclusion.
