Is this just a new staff under the Deadspin brand? Doesn't seem like a typical Deadspin piece.
That's what I figured.New staff. Everyone quit back in November. It relaunched sometime in March, and pretty much every article so far is hacky clickbait.

It's an entirely new staff. They were giving a "stick-to-sports" mandate last fall and every major writer and editor quit.
I know how you Bistephsuals require the deck to be stacked for him at all times, so this won’t go anywhere. His performance playing against Delly as opposed to Kyrie/Lowry/FVV is what is more important. We should not focus on how well his teammates play in elimination games only for him to shoot 6-19 and 6-17 along with playing pathetic defense.Equating not having KD to not having Kyrie means that KD would be a second fiddle, right? Otherwise, there's no compariosn.
You had to put two qualifiers in your statement to justify your slander. 2016 is on Steph.I have conceded to that. 2019 is a different story, IMO. Yes, Klay was still an all-star but Draymond wasn't at that point and his role was significantly diminished from what it was during his previous all-star years as was his quality of play/production. The Warriors were plagued by injuries and as a result they lost. Sure, they beat HOU in G6 w/o KD and swept the Blazers but those teams weren't as good as Toronto. Yes, Steph was not elite in the Finals but without a player of KD's caliber against that Toronto team coupled with no more Elimination Game Klay, I'm not sure what Steph could have done to carry that roster to victory.
Similar to LeBron in 2015.
Should’ve been shooting like 12 3s a game.
Truly disgusting. Was born 20 years too early

He is a great player. IMO, the best second fiddle we’ve ever seen. His play on the 2017 and 2018 teams was incredible. He just isn’t built to be THE guy. We’ve seen it several times now on the biggest stage.
Gave Kyrie 26/8 on 50% shooting in a win, in his first ever Finals game in 2015. But SUUUURE.
Championships just come THAT easy . Y’all forget it takes 4 wins, to win a series. 16 to win a championship. Sad B Sox . You better than that smh.

My man really pointing at ONE game
Y’all love jumping through hoops to protect your man at all costs. I respect it. Ride or die.

I mean, you've clearly and explicitly stated that Steph shoulders a lot of the responsibility for 2016, and 2019 could have been better. Like you literally said that... but you haven't said the magic words 'Steph is inferior to Lebron.' Since you haven't said that, then obviously you love Steph too much. Wait, it's tough to say what the magic words are according to who the other person is sometimes. Are they looking for 'Lebron is galaxies better than Steph,' or 'Steph is not only an absolutely terrible basketball player, but also one of the worst human beings to ever live'? It gets difficult sometimes deciphering what specifically people are looking for in order to drop something.1. I am heterosexual not Bistephual
2. This argument seems futile. I am admitting Steph had a lackluster performance in 2016 and in 2019 he had the same which was amplified by injuries. Not sure what else there is to say from an objective POV.
