you mean 5 times?

lol at anybody who thinks making 8 times in the east is harder than 5 times in the west

lol at you trying to be logical when we discuss sports. get outta here!!
Eight Finals in a row as not only a main guy but also one of the league's posterboys... is INSANE.

The end.

'In the weak East' is a weak qualifier.

Buuuut if you HAVE to have opinion based qualifiers, how about the reminder that after back-2-back Finals runs as an amazing shooting team, the Dubs added one of the GOAT scorers, which makes those 5 Finals runs tainted.

I know, it sounds silly, haterific, even. It's supposed to. 'Eight Finals in the weak East, so 5 is actually more' is also silly.

how is he not a passenger when KD was CLEARLY the best player in the floor

it was like driving mrs daisy for steph. dude was in the back chillin with his feet up while KD demanded most of the attention.

so explain to me why they doubled steph more than kd?

give me your list of the top 5 teams that Lebron had to go through in order to make it to the finals

All it’s gonna take is one more ring for Bron for people to elevate him as the goat.

His all time stats will just be too much.
He’s gonna end up with the most all time points and tons of rebounds and assists .

Then the 4 rings with 3 different teams .

It can’t happen.

is saying bron is better than wardell some crazy statement to you warriors fans i don’t get it

he CLEARLY is better :rollin

I don't call him the GOAT or make that a deciding factor where I rank him :lol

STACKED

That was the 2007 team. And that was a decent roster in the East at that time. I’m CLEARLY talking about the Heatles and Kyrie/Love Cavs obviously. As I said 8 straight finals....but go off.

I really wish you’d go back and understand team building models of various years too.

That was the first year where I remember Kobe looking old. Limited mins for the first time in his career and he still had no juice in the playoffs.

Then the very next season he was right back to 40 mpg, 28 ppg  Then that ridiculous D’Antoni/Dwight regular season when he was making all those 4th quarter shots, dunking on people:rofl:

Wonder how long it would’ve taken for a decline if the achilles didn’t happen. He still had everything in his bag at 34 I was blown away
Kobe went on record how he wished he could've gave Phil a healthy season that year. He was playing on one leg by season's end. He had a hot start to the lockout then fizzled towards the end.

As an all time player....yes of Course Bron is. And it isn’t close. Bron too 5-8. Steph top 13-20.

Now if we arguing who was better over the last 4 years...give me KD & Steph as better players by a hair over LeBron. And I know, it was unfair the 2 best players in the league played on the same team :hat. Love it tho.

dawg.. steph had a chance to put up all time GOAT numbers this year and he nursed a wrist injury to death and bron STILL put up better numbers than him.

To accomplish what exactly? My contention is simply that going to 8 straight Finals as a main guy for your team and as a league poster child is insane. Surely you're not asking me for my 5 top teams that Lebron had to go through in that time in order to contend what I just said... because if you don't think that going to 8 straight Finals as a team's main guy and a league poster boy is insane, I have neither the energy or desire to convince you that that's insane.

If you do agree that that's insane, then my personal 5 teams he had to go through is irrelevant, because we're in agreement.

So my 5 teams he had to go through, that's to accomplish what exactly?

I wouldn’t call the 2018 Cavs stacked at all especially when dudes in here were picking them to lose every series in the playoffs.
man none of them cavs teams were stacked. outside of love and irving. they literally took everyone’s scraps and put them together.

It’s an elementary argument lol

Nah the ship sailed a while ago. He can possibly get to Kareem's spot at 2 though.

The team models where he played against 3 hall of famers in the Finals? Or went through one of the greatest defensive teams of all time? The top portion of the league had multiple all stars on their team. Spurs, Suns, Jazz, Pistons, Nets, Rockets. We've had this discussion before and obviously don't see eye to eye on it but that roster was sub-par outside of an aging Big Z. Boobie Gibson was arguably their 3rd best player and his job was to shoot open 3 pointers. A good chunk of that roster was out or on their way out the league shortly after.
