Scottie was definitely far from A on Portland. He was averaging like 11 a game at that point I think.

I don't remember every series they played in but could the same be said about Wade in relation to Bron in Miami?

Sure for the 1st 2 years.

Those OG Dubs were built around Steph's gravity. Steph balled in the WCF while KD was out. So going along with those two quotes, how do you compare Wardell and Kevin?

It got so bad I was watching replays on the Xbox today ....
I’m a simple man god
I don’t ask for much
A cold one , and a game ....

I view a side kick as a true subordinate. I don't view it as an almost equal partner in crime.

Kobe wasn't a subordinate to Shaq. He wasn't on his level completely either.

Even though The gap between Shaq and Kobe is smaller than the gap between Jordan and Pippen, I don't view Scottie as a subordinate.

When I think of subordinates, I think of TP/Manu to TD.
Clyde to Dream.

But back to the main claim, Pippen doesn't have enough experience as a #1 to be considered to be on kobe or KD's level.

I understand and respect your opinion. I have a different definition of “Robin” so it looks we have a fundamental flaw in our discussion.

One last thing on this, though. I don’t think someone has to be a robin their entire career. Kobe was a Robin when shaq was there and a batman when Shaq left.

I am simply acknowledging that there are levels to "Robins."

As I mentioned earlier, all non-#1s aren't created/judged equally.

Not saying you are saying this but to view Shaq/Kobe the same as you view Jordan/Pippen would be completely dishonest. (Again, not saying you are saying that).

I am only saying 3 things.
1. Kobe was the 2nd option on the 3peat
2. Pippen was the 2nd option on the bulls teams
3. Kobe was a better 2nd option than Pippen.

Nothing else.

Yea nobody refuted any of those points. I agree with all 3 points.

2001 Playoff Kobe is an interesting case

He scored only 16 points less than Shaq did and took 358 shots compared to Shaq's 344

The first 3 series it seemed like they were taking turns being dominate. I will say in the Finals, Shaq def took the reigns and punished the 6ers big men. Mutumbo repeatedly getting elbowed in the face was savage

I agree.

I don't want to, but yeah, you're right.
