So if 2X 3-Peat is a Robin and the best one ever....what does that make 3-Peat Kobe???

450

Shaq and Kobe

I kid you not I got a PM from someone before you posted that "he's gonna make a super long post about why you didn't get the W"

Damn this is really getting to you, isn't it
I kid you not, I was going to say in my previous reply the trajectory you're going suggests that personal attacks are going to be next. And there it is. The only reason I didn't say it is because that would be predictive, and I thought I would keep my focus on how childish you've already been in this little back-and-forth. But there it is, you're starting to make it personal now. Want to know what state I live in? Where I went to school? Other life failures? "Damn, didn't you used to be a mod?" Something like that?

Because again, to you, this is just a battle between you and me that you need to win. Forget NBA, BeachEm, everything now; this is a self-satisfying false sense of victory. Huge L, all yours to hold and hug and squeeze tight. There's a W painted on the on the front, though, so you'll love it.

Depends which Robin we're talking about. They're all actually kinda dope.
But you got your Damian Wayne's, then you got your Jason Todd's.

So which one is Chris O’Donnell and which one is Joseph Gordon Leavitt?

I have no clue what you're talking about as far as personal attacks go, and I apologize if you took anything that way because that wasn't my intention at all. It got fired up, but I always thought we were cool with each other and wouldn't think of taking it anywhere like that, and I honestly thought you were still a mod too.
It's really not that serious to me. If you wanna air anything out in PM's/have any issue, we can talk it out like men there and I'm fine with that. I think this has gone way too far though, especially in a thread.

Kobe isn't in the "B+ Player" category man. Stop.

Scottie isn’t either. Robin has nothing to do with these fiction grades. Robin is SUPPOSED to mean the sidelick to a team’s best player. You know, because Robin was Batman’s sidekick.

So you are indirectly saying Kobe and Pippen are on the same "level?"

Same Tier?
I edited my post but you may not see it so here it is. These fictional grades you’re giving are very confusing yo me. What grading system are you using? But your issue was with my Robin comment. The “Robin” thing is used too describe the 2nd best player on a team, or the sidekick. storm2006 storm2006 asked about the Kobe/shaq teams. Shaq was the batman of those teams. Thus Kobe was the Robin. So if we’re talking Kobe vs Scottie as the 2nd option of a team, I’m taking Kobe over Scottie all day.

I think Scottie showed he was an A player when MJ was out did he not?

The Bulls were really good in 94 and the Blazers were loaded in 2000 to but neither got to the finals. That's only 2 years.

Bean got to and won 2 chips with a squad built around him. That's the difference between a #1 and #2 or even a #1A or #1B guy. At no point with MJ was Scottie ever thought of or played like the best player in a series.

Kobe was putting up Batman numbers during the 2nd and 3rd years of the 3 peat.

Scottie was definitely far from A on Portland. He was averaging like 11 a game at that point I think.

I don't remember every series they played in but could the same be said about Wade in relation to Bron in Miami?

I view a side kick as a true subordinate. I don't view it as an almost equal partner in crime.

Kobe wasn't a subordinate to Shaq. He wasn't on his level completely either.

Even though The gap between Shaq and Kobe is smaller than the gap between Jordan and Pippen, I don't view Scottie as a subordinate either.

When I think of subordinates, I think of TP/Manu to TD.
Clyde to Dream.

But back to the main claim, Pippen doesn't have enough experience as a #1 to be considered to be on kobe or KD's level.

Those OG Dubs were built around Steph's gravity. Steph balled in the WCF while KD was out. So going along with those two quotes, how do you compare Wardell and Kevin?
