Rudy is trying to get paid at the wrong time. The league could be moving away from paying maxes to his types... especially with how he is played off the court by Robert Covington and PJ Tucker

Yes he has impacted winning more than KP to this point but I'd rather have KP 10/10 times on Dallas and perhaps any other team for that matter

Especially if Rudy gets the max.. which he very much still could. All of that sucks to say about Rudy because I've caped for him plenty but the writing is on the wall. If he would have been able to have better showings against HOU this year I'd be more optimistic

So Dominque Wilkins, Alex English, Andrian Dantley, Dr. J, Mark Aguirre, James Worthy, etc. all sucked?

I meant defensively. None of those dudes were challenging Bird. They were offensive focused guys. Also, nobody played defense in the '80s.

That’s fair, but it’s not a reason to trash that position in that era. Not all SFs are great defenders now, nor were they in the 90s.

I just don’t think “lack of competition at the position” is a good reason to diminish Bird. He torched whoever they threw at him while he was healthy. Period.

I’ve been playing video games regularly for my entire life and have never gotten mad enough to break something. Not saying I don’t get mad. But I couldn’t imagine breaking my own stuff
I've thrown my controllers but not hard enough to break them. **** cost money.

Y'all wild for throwing controllers and breaking stuff. Must've had money.

I don’t think I ever threw a controller, but when I was in about 7th grade I lost to my little brother in the Tecmo Bowl 2 Super Bowl.

I punched a small whole into the bedroom wall. Fortunately, there was a picture I could hang over it. My brothers told on me anyway.

I was going to say, when you're a kid and you're playing against your friends in person it's kinda different. That was our source of pride for a few years so the clowning would be merciless if you took L's. I've never thrown controllers but at times pretty sure as kids/young teens we've almost thrown hands 😂

It'd go from 'you're whack' inevitably to more personal swipes and just get escalated from there

Closest I came to breaking something was back playing my PS3. DBZ game and I couldn’t beat this one final boss. I would just toss the controller on my bed and walk away

I miss the days of grabbing my controller and walking to my boy's house. Me him and his brother would play games in the basement all day long. Take a break to shoot some hoops in the backyard. Their milf mom would fix us something to eat....good times...

Speaking of pride, nothing was more humbling than playing 2K13 at a house party and throwing alleys all day to make people call me a cheater

Smh
ESPN tweeted out a picture after last Sunday’s episodes. They should’ve let people go in blind

Oh man. 2K on Dreamcast had all of us raging at each other as middle schoolers

I remember one dude who was trash for a while and would just get consistently smoked and **** on all of a sudden he leveled up and started giving it back.. and the other friends weren't used to losing or receiving **** talk so they almost got physical lol

Lmao that was me on 2K12/13. Once I got used to controls going from PS2->360/PS3 and got people with the “go for alleys sliders on 100” cheese they wanted to fight. The days putting up 20 assists with MCW

I hadn't played or owned a basketball video game since Live was the dominant basketball game. ( I played nba street etc, but obviously two different games). I played 2k10 by some of my friend's house as well as by some of my cousins and got smoked each time. It legit got me heated that I went out and bought 2k and put the work in. When I played them, they didn't even know what hit them. I pre-emptively put money on the line and they were shocked. They ended up paying for the game and then some.

Nah they knew that they were doing. Appealing to Kobe folks that may have not been watching the doc but will now tune in. Will probably work.
