I've been over it for a while now. And trust me, I've needed sports and especially ball so it was rough as hell at first
But you're right it wouldn't be the same, all of the meta lost. I was dying to see how Dallas would perform too
I could understand if LAC and MIL fans were rallying to restart the season. I'm sure a bunch of folks would put an asterisk on whoever won anyway

I would rather have no NBA since it will probably eat into next season if it resumes. Let's just get one **** season outta the way. The product won't be good since they will all be hella rusty and out of basketball shape.

we are closing in on 60 days since the last gm of the season. typical off season is 130 days. as a fan, i am already over it, just would not feel the same with the extended layoff

guys i've talked to personally, said a lot of them arent interested. No interest in returning under different conditions or being away from their families or having to being on a fixed schedule just playing ball and nothing else. Players typically have a free flow schedule, mixed with their own chefs or eating programs, training, practice or not, and then games. Most of them want the season to be cancelled just so they can move on, they felt like theyve been on the hook for months and dont know what to do as far as if they should be staying in shape or just chill lol
