No disrespect, but posts in which the "target" probably won't even see the post has always been funny to me.

How’d you feel about the KG picture with Flip Saunders parking space?

As soon as I saw it, I always wondered how it came about. Like did KG get the news and ask someone to follow him into the garage to snap the pic? Did it take multiple takes? And if so, did KG get up each time to see if it was acceptable?

I feel the same way man.

But people's emotions are heavily attached to the act, so I won't be disrespectful about it

NFL players are high profile athletes which is what my post initially stated and they have the same opportunity right now.

Now that you mention it....it feels like all social justice talk surrounding the NFL has been dead since the players went rogue and shot that video. I know the NFL and NFLPA both want to press forward but the situation and logistics are totally ******. They might not even have a platform to get paid so I guess their minds are elsewhere at the moment.

Aside from kneeling, I don't see the NFL guys doing much if anything with their platform. They'll probably make the NBA players look like the Black Panthers in comparison but I hope I'm wrong.

Man, asking NFL players to speak up like NBA players when we know they aren't on guaranteed contracts is easy for US to demand. Yea, I get it that you might need to sacrifice when fighting the good fight but I can't expect them to do that. Not the way their CBA / COntracts is/are structured. Unfair to even bring them up.

NFL players are working with a much worse structure than the NBA. The cards are stacked against the players in many ways

For sure, i only mentioned them because they were brought up in another post. The variation between the league is crazy but as you both alluded to makes sense when you factor in the inherent challenges resulting from their organizational structure.

still have this saved somewhere in a drawer:
